Yes the nurse is asking a medicine question...
Pam,
so sorry you're feeling like that - truly a miserable type of bug. My only reminder would be that if you get ANY nausea or fever with it or any pain in the belly or mid-abdomen (mine was actually at the TOP of my stomach in the middle, just under the tip of the breastbone, go figure), stop the immodium immediately and have them check you for appendicitis...
hugs. call me if you need anything.

Yup...I'm normally not a fan of taking anti diarrhea stuff...I kinda feel that there's a REASON for the diarrhea, and whatever is in there that is causing it, should come OUT..but at work...it'd be difficult and I'm not willing to call out...cause I feel FINE otherwise.
Actually, KNOCK ON WOOD, since I've posted..I haven't had a single issue...ate lunch and everything without it going right through me...I haven't taken any meds and at this point, I don't plan on it, although I'll bring some to work with me just in case :)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup2.gif)
