Today is my mom's 93rd birthday, and we made a big deal out of it! Celebrated all afternoon with my sister, myself, my kids, and the grandchildren.

Along the way, my cousin stopped by - hadn't seen her in years.

When she saw me she said, "Oh my gosh Lynn...you look absolutely anorexic! And THAT is a compliment!"

OK. I'll take em as they come!

Oh, and happy birthday to mom - I saw your posts on fb - sounded like a fabulous day!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I would have said to her thank you cuz and moved on. People say some of the stupidest stuff. But I am such a hag I really would have said to her BITE ME! no just kidding. Happy bday Mom! and many more.
