With Jim by my side we made a decision to change our lives for the better by having a RNY together on this day. I have lost 105 pounds (Jim 120) and there are so many things that I can do easily today that I never could have one year ago.
 WOWS
walk for an hour w/o getting tired
shop in a store (or 3 or 4) w/o my feet aching
go outside in the heat w/o breaking into an instant sweat
my legs don't rub together when I walk
 tie my shoes
 lost a shoe size
wear a size 10 clothes
have a lap for grand kids to sit on
lay a magazine in my lap to read
wear a bathing w/o a skirt
energy to spare
hardly any migraines
fit in a restaurant booth
wear shorts
wear pants with a zipper
wear light colors
use and get up from a sand beach chair
feel normal around others
need to have my rings re-sized
regular sized blood pressure cuff
look in the mirror w/o wanting to cry
shop in regular size clothing stores
I'm sure there are many more that I'm not thinking of right now and some that I won't mention that are TMI but I want everyone to know who hasn't yet had it that......... My life has been blessed by this surgery.

Thank you Dr. Boe and thanks to all of you that have helped me on this journey. I have met some wonderful people and have made some very good friends along the way. I couldn't have done it w/o my husband Jim and the great support system of Barix. Today I'm proud to be me.

Congratulations on your surgiversary and your respective losses!!   That is fantastic and quite the story how you did it together.   It underlines how each is an individual picture within the bigger picture.   Many more years of continued successing together!
