Nutritionist visit today---kinda long
Lisa,
This sounds like EXACTLY what you needed... I didn't realize that you'd had no nutritionist support at all during your post-surg journey. I knew that you had very little support from Dr. Sawnya, but not that he didn't include a nutritionist as a standard part of his followup! Wow.
So you've been doing great and doing the right things, and now you have some more exact guidelines for YOU to work with, and some extra tools to help you keep yourself on track. Excellent!
The only quibble I have is with the drinking. I've always heard (fairly consistently, I might add) 5/30 (5 minutes before, 30 minutes after) as the numbers to remember for drinking. That's doable - i don't think I could do 30/60 and still get my water in for the day without really drinking a LOT at one sitting. So you might want to think about that one and figure out what will fit into your own lifestyle and what you will comply with, which is the name of the game.

Hey Lisa,
I read your post with great interest. Thanks for sharing the numbers! I'm thinking though you are going to be crazy hungry with 1200 calories and all of your exercise. Especially if you hit it like you were there for a while. With that said, you'll clearly lose more weight if you can keep it at 1200. Good luck. I'll be cheering you on. I'm in the same boat with you trying to lose the last 15 pounds for a year now. I've maintained so I am happy with that.
Keep up the good work!

Lisa,
I am so glad you have a great Nut now. Congrats on moving that scale # down girlfriend! With the support & info from your Nut and your drive to suceed it will surely keep moving for you. Thanks for the info too. I see the DR for my 8 mo. followup in 2 wks and will ask for clarification on what they want me to do. Stick to the basics and you will do great (PS: you already are doing fantastic)
