First Saturday Support Group Meeting at Barix
Barix First Saturday Support Group Meeting Saturday July 3 in the Lobby of Barix in Langhorne.
We have a NEW start time of 11:00am and will go to 1:30pm please make note of the new time and also pass along the time change if you can.
The nutritionist will be selling protein and supplements starting at 10:30am and also after the meeting at 1:30.
We will have the same format of small groups for support by time of surgery. We will just not be doing the big group at the end or doing a break. As always you can come and go as need be and feel free to snack during the meeting.
We are asking that since there are sensitive topics discussed at session to refrain from bringing children under the age of 13 to the meetings. This is everyone's time for adult support and we do not want to sensor anyone at a meeting do to a child being at the meeting or feel you can not bring up a topic do to a child in the area.
So RNYers, LapBanders, Pre-OPs or thinking about surgery or had weight loss surgery 1 month ago or 5,6,7,8, years ago come out to join us and get your support groove on!

Gene and I are heading out on Friday on the Harley - heading north, might end up in Canada or Maine - not sure yet. Depends on where the roads take us. Then moseying back south through the New England states I think....
I'm hoping to be at the Wed meeting later this coming month as long as work gets back to a dull roar this month - fingers crossed. I am planning to make it to August first Saturday. Gene will not be at the first Saturday in August he is preaching that Sunday and will be researching/writing his sermon on Staturday.......I'll need to say out of his hair so he can reflect - there is only so much conversation one can have with Hider (our kitty)

Gene and I are heading out on Friday on the Harley - heading north, might end up in Canada or Maine - not sure yet. Depends on where the roads take us. Then moseying back south through the New England states I think....

I kow you and Gene have had some busy months and to me that is great! While we have missed you life happens and we need to savior every moment.
While you may make the July meeting Dennis and I will be on vacation that night in Mexico. We will be at the first Saturday in August for sure.
Enjoy your 4th Road trip and that sounds wonderful to just head out and see where you land!

Enjoy Mexico. Gene and I have not made it there together, he has been there prior to me and loved it. His sister also travels there every year with a group of friends.
I really thought life would settle down once school ended, instead it's become so much more crammed with things to do and work has just exploded. I love my job, I love my new getting old promotion and all that came with it the days go by so quickly when I keep so busy. I still have to learn to take me time. Today for example I said I was going to take my hour lunch all for me. I even walked to the other building to the cafateria to get a banana, then got back to my desk and what did I do. Start working while I was eating. When am I going to learn to stop that????
I am looking forward to seeing you all the first Saturday of August!!!!

I will be there with bells on (ok, maybe not bells, but am in need of a meeting :) so I am looking forward to it.
So, all are welcome to come to the house after the support group meeting - we don't all eat much, so I am sure we will have plenty - I am off on Friday (yipee) so I can get prepped.
