MEDIUM wow moment!!!!!!

Yup - I know it has been a few days - but I REALLY felt Eric needed his AW time.....now that that is over, back to me!!! :)

So tonight at camp we were give out our staff t-shirts, they were packaged so beautifully in a fanny pack (NO COMMENTS HERE PLEASE!)  with the camp logo on it and I kept seeing the other staff pulling candy out of their pack and thinking, hmmmm.....wonder what candy I am going to get and give away....so they call my name and I open up the pack to find, you ready....I am soooo freaking excited.....SUGAR FREE PEPPERMINT PATTIES!!!!!!!!!!  And....my t-shirt....a size MEDIUM!!!!!!!!!!  I am soooo pumped for this!!!!  EVERYONE that I have spoken to about my WLS has been, not only supportive, but have asked amazing questions and seem REALLY interested about the experience.  And I am talking about the twenty something staff as well as the adults!  

I am so excited to start tomorrow!

Ok, the fact of the size shirt is a medium is beyond awesome!!!!! I'm on my phone or I'd use the same lil emoticons I used in the afore mentioned eric's post. But tye darn iPhone has limited smiley capabilities so my words will have to suffice!
FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!

The sf candy? Speaks VOLUMES about your surroundings...how much they care for you, how GENUINELY interested they are when they ask questions...everything! And that is a size xl wow! One of the times we will categorize something as xl for you and mean it as a fantastic thing!!!

I can actually FEEL the emoticons you are sending!  I know you well enough to know that you don't need them to express your happiness for me! :)  I am currently wearing said t-shirt and may have even been able to wear the small - but, didn't want to show up the cute little 20 somethings.....you know how that is! :)  HA HA!

Um, I am pretty sure you don't need to live THROUGH me - you are having some of your own amazing wow moments missy!  Unless of course you mean the camp thing, then by all means - live vicariously through me! :)

So I had my day and that's it, huh?

Well I think Pam said it best, the shirt size is huge, but the fact that your other staff took the time to get you SF candy. That is awesome! You clearly are surrounded by people who care about you and are there to support you as well. Clearly they are not nearly as wonderful as us, but I think that is so incredibly sweet of them.

Again though, the t-shirt. HUGE! Way to go!

I actually gave you a FEW days.....geez - you REALLY need to pay attention, they don't happen often.....And It is amazing to be surrounded by people who know my struggles the best they can and really appreciate the journey that I have been on.  And as for them being as wonderful and you....well....that is STILL up for debate! :)

where's my candy?  I want SF peppermint patties...........

oh wait, I'm supposed to be telling you how awesome and wonderful these things are.... oops... my bad..

You know I love you and support everything you are doing.  This is proof that there are still people in the world who pay attention and acknowledge what we are doing.  What an awesome thing for them to take the time to think about your needs.  You are an amazing person and it carries to everyone around you.

Im soo happy for you!  You absolutely deserve it!  Your life seems really amazing.  Im a bit envious!  I hope you have a great time at camp, it seems like a very fulfilling adventure.
