****Freaky Friday Roll Call****
Good Morning PA,
My Munchkins are back in town for a week. They left last week to go to Maine to visit family, and help friends unpack from moving from Michigan to Maine. They have to finish the project they are doing on my ex's house, and then head back to Michigan.
Friday will have me going to my ex's to get one or both of my grandchildren to go to the Newtown Farmers Market with my mom and sister. Then, in the evening, I have my home group of AA. I am chairing and really looking forward to the woman who is speaking.
I also hope to see some of the Phillies game. They are hot this week, just like the temperatures.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Ah, good morning Trish!
Tonight thus far has been busy..and a bit crazy. I have had at least four different assignments since I cam in at 7p...which entailed switching about every hour or two...including doing 3 trauma's back to back to back...which entails wearing a leaded gown....so I was quite warm by the time the hour and half was up of THAT nonsense...plus running around trying to get to all different assignments...but must admit, most of the night has gone by quickly. We'll see if that's the case for the next 4 1/2 hours.
Stopping at Walmart on my way home today...it's my day off for the week from the gym (I do not work out formally 7 days a week....) going through mail and hopefully headed to bed early. Got about 4 hours of super solid sleep yesterday, felt FANTASTIC after those four hours and chose not to go back to bed. I'm sure I'll be paying for that decision later...
Gonna get up a bit earlier than usual today...have a few stops to make on the way to work...at least it's a change of scenery today...12 hours at Sacred Heart. We'll see how that goes. Inner cities and warm summer nights normally = TROUBLE
Enjoy!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Just turning in at this wee hour after witnessing the birth of my new grandson. He was born at 11:39 pm and weighed in at 9# 7 oz.
Watching Sarah go through natural childbirth was amazing. Her labor was fast but quiet and almost gracious...she stood for most of it, swaying through contractions. She also used a birthing ball. Lights were off...it was so personal and loving a time.
I was trembling as the delivery approached. 4 pushes and done. As Mr Rogers would say, Speedy Delivery!
