Sticking to the Basics - FINALLY Friday
In trying to bring some consistency into my meal planning before going away on vacation, I thought I'd share my menu for the day....
B - SF oatmeal
S - Greek yogurt with blackberries and a bit of splenda
L - Chicken with a little whole grain pasta
S - Protein bar
D - Up in the air yet, might take the kids to the fair, so God help me..
S - See dinner....

M1 - Protein shake
M2 - was going to be yogurt, but the morning got away from me too quickly
M3 (which became 2) chicken with mixed veggies (string beans, too stringy - first time I tried, can't chew 'em down - not having that again)
M3 - turkey rollups w/ dijonaisse
M4 - cheese stick
we just got back from a 40 min bike ride :)
M5 - possibly thai chicken or the rest of the tofu from the other night (we went out last night, so it has been marinating for 2 days.. should be good)
M6 - will need to make some type of welcome weekend snack.. maybe a sf pie of some sort.. not sure yet.. maybe chocolate mousse (sf choc chips melted w/ fat free half and half then mixed up with some protein powder and cool whip - when it gels back up a bit, it is delightful) It is so rich, I can actually only eat like 2 tablespoons of it..
