6 month checkup

I had my  month checkup w/ Doctor P today.  Blood test = normal, vitals = normal, weight = 75% of excess weight gone.

Am happy - went to mall, bought jeans, 2 sizes smaller than what I was wearing.  I did a quick jennifer beals type flashdance move all by myself in the dressing room.

Had date night dinner with my husband, he toasted my jeans size - now, he thought that I had lost 12 sizes because he didn't realize that womens sizes go in increments of two (how cute!)

am just plain happy :)

AND, I walked with Sandra today at lunch
AND, I got to see Beth V (1 year scheduled 15 min before mine and she hung out with me during my checkup..)

The only thing better than that is that we are heading to bed in a few minutes  ;) probably not, but just had to add a little spice to the post!

Congrats Maura!!!  Very impressive!  I can totally picture the whole flashdance thing!  Funny!

Thank you Swede - at least the dressing room doors went all the way down to the floor, so no one but me knew I did it..

OMG - forgot all about it.  Go ahead and cancel the room. :(   My mom is still in rehab and I'm not certain what's going to be.  My sister is having surgery next week and will not be available to help out, so I guess I'll have to skip it.  Have a fantastic time! And thanks again for thinking of me.

Wow, Maura - it's ONLY been 6 months?  You are SO rocking the tool, girl!  Your progress is great and you look totally fantastic!

Thanks Shilpa - always remember that it was you saying that you didn't even want chocolate or rice anymore that sold me ;)  Thanks for that!!! Doctor P said I was doing well - her opinion means a lot.
