Ok... it's the a new day, a new week and a fresh attitude!!  Friday and Saturday I swam laps at the pool.

Tonight I am meeting an old friend from school at the Bethlehem Gold's.

We are going to Pilates, followed by Body Pump!! 

Woot Woot!! Lisa IS getting back into the exercise routine!!


Who else is moving to lose today??

 I went to an exercise class this morning from 6:30-7:30AM!!  So glad too!!  (I'm just 4 weeks out so I skipped the push ups and planks!!)

Hi honey!  I made the re-re-re committment (or however many "re's" we are up to at this point..)

I did 45 min spin class and sweated my butt off!
Then I did abs

When I was doing abs...there was a chic doing pushups...Brian and I had a conversation on push ups the other day...I said I could probably do one...but not much more (never have been able to do them the "real" way I might add)  So...I was watching her...and decided (once I was basically all by myself in the area because I was afraid I couldn't do it and didn't want to make a fool of myself in front of others...) to give it a whirl.  5 FREAKING PUSHUPS IN A ROW.  Ok...so 5 isn't anywhere near a full set...but it's more than I've done before!  I ended up doing 2 sets of 5.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Awesome job on the push ups!! I can do them in Body Pump class, but I have not tried to get up on my toes yet.  I still do them from my knees.  But, I do them.  I couldn't tell you how many I can do.  Maybe one day I'll count.

Thanks!  I've done them on my knees before...I don't know how many of them I could do at this point...but wanted to try the "real" way today.

oh - and I made 3 weeks worth of personal trainer appointments (that I had already paid for, but hadn't used)  2 x week Mon & Thurs 8:30am starting next Monday...time to get back to paying somebody to make me cry like a little girl, lol

Hello movers!~

I'm getting my head int he game here.    Went to the fitness center at work fro the first time in a long time.  Did all my physical therapy exercises for my shoulder and started slow on the elliptical and recumbant bike. 
Will meet with the trainer soon to develop a formal plan for me.

I need to work out more......

Coolio, Lisa - sounds like you're RIGHT on track!!!  You rock!

I got my butt to the gym this morning (after 4 days off, it was tough - but absolutely necessary!) - did a pounding half hour on the treadmill, which was all I had time for today.  Full weight circuit on tap for tomorrow...
