I went to my nieces graduation party yesterday. A couple people didn't even recognize me. One was my niece home from college. We hadn't seen each other since Christmas. I watched her stare at me from across the lawn and decided to go give her a hug. I got about 5 feet away and her jaw dropped! Major wow moment. My nieces are gorgeous!! Every one of them! I LOVED their compliments and told them they'd never get old!

Another relative of my niece who graduated said she looked for me for 2 hours and couldn't find me. When she figured out who I was she gave me a big hug and gushed about how great I looked. I hadn't seen her for about a year.

It's phenomenal to see people reactions! I better be careful not to get a big head!

Today's father's day...served Jim pancakes and eggs and 1/2 a protein shake in bed. TUrns out the cloc was an hour ahead and we didnt sleep in as long as we thought. oops. That means I got up at 9 today instead of 10...what the heck?!?! Now my sleep account is short for the week. crap!

Going to visit my fil and later my dad. Holidays are all about traveling NW PA instead of resting and relaxing. Oh well, I've got 3 dads in my life to celebrate...so celebrate I will!!! I'm not complaining about that part for sure!

Happy father's day to all you dads and to all you moms who have to play the dad role too.

Good afternoon. Went to karaoke last night with Bron and had a great time... He can sing, too!! Spent the morning curled up in bed with him, finally got out of bed by noon. I couldn't tell u when I did that last.

Now we are sitting around with Siehara jus****ching mindless tv. I'm thinking about hanging at the pool for awhile, but I'm kind of comfy on the sofa.

I will head to the cemetery at some point to see my dad. I'll probably wait til the sun goes down.

Lisa,
My Dad is buried all the way in Sugar Notch, PA, over two hours away, so I don't get up there much.  I wish Mom had buried him closer.

Have a good day.

Hugs,,
Trish

Trish, I am very thankful that both of my parents are buried in the synagogue's cemetery and that it is only about 15 minutes from my house.  If I stay at the same synagogue, I will be buried there too.. what a thought..   They will have to get more land somehow though.  This space is very old and even the new section is pretty full.   Siehara and I wandered around on Mother's Day and found some people who passed in the mid 1800s

Happy Sunday.

I've been away from OH for awhile and know I need to come back for support.

Just relaxing today and gearing up for a busy week before much needed vacation
and my 40th birthday!
