***Summer Sunday Roll Call***
Good Morning PA,
I am up because my bedroom will not cool off, and I hate being warm in bed, unless it is 30 degrees outside.
Sunday has me trying to get to church, to an AA meeting, and to my sister's. If I accomplish anything else, it will be a miracle.

Good morning Trish and all of PA -
I am awake and ready to start my day. Who knows what the mountains have in store for me today - Bring it Poconos - I can handle you! :) I am feeling a little bad about NOT being with my hubby for daddy's day - but he said to me, "It's ok, I love you and you are doing something for our children." What a great daddy! He is off to brunch with my step-dad and I knew nothing about this - hmmmmm....wonder if I have been a little preoccupied?!?! :)
I have no idea what I am doing today - I think some planning for my kids and staff, cleaning up the room we are going to be using and meeting some new staff that are coming. Again, would LOVE to get to the pool, not sure that is an option, but there is always walking around this vast, amazing, facility.
I hope you all have an AMAZING Sunday. To all those whose daddy's are no longer with us, I hope you find some comfort in what yours was able to leave you with and to those who are fortunate enough to have their dad's still in your lives, relish in them. And to those who are Daddy's - today is all about you......enjoy! :)

Two summers ago, we invested in a window air conditioner for the bedroom. It has been worth it. Now I roast in the rest of the house lol.
Today is getting the finances caught up. My most unfavorite job. I guess if it wasn't such a struggle I wouldn't mind doing it. Also, depending on how hot it gets will determine how active I am. I have some blowout dockers of my husband to make into shorts so I may do that.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads in our lives. This is always a bittersweet day because I lost my dad at a young age, but this year it's also my wedding anniversary. I am so blessed to have Mike as my best friend and shoulder to lean on.
Yesterday we had a wonderful celebration day just hanging out. We drove around Lancaster County with the top down, breathing in the warm air. Had lunch at Red Lobster (where it's easy for me to eat.) Rita's for dessert later in the day. I got a manicure and pedicure. Spent the evening out on the deck.
I LOVE the warm days...for once I'm not freezing!
Today is church and then I run home to pack the car (I think most everything is ready!) and head to Michigan. That's the rest of the day right there, so...hellllloooooo Turnpike! Actually I may stop and say hi to a friend near Pittsburgh just to take a short break. Sarah and Tyler live in Ann Arbor MI, so the directions are basically this: Take the Turnpike to Toledo and turn right. I do look forward to Michigan. PA is home now, but MI is my home state and it's always fun to see changes and friends there. From Facebook, I may be able to get together with some high school friends next week. (Is that a mistake?)

Anyway, I'll check in on y'all! Watch for news of the new grandbaby boy! (Whose name is a total secret so I am dying to find out!)

Happy father's day!!!!!! We've got more men on the board, many of which (maybe all?) are Daddy's this year - so celebrate your day away!!!
Work was....busy....we walked into a BUNCH of critical patients simutaneously...our computer charting system went down for "two" hours - which ended up being "more than 7" because when we left at 7am, it still wasn't up yet. Grrr.
Made things VERY difficult.
And Trish - are you sure I wasn't working in your bedroom last night? Somewhere around the area of 11:15pm it became soooo hot in the ER. The air was on, but either A) I was working to hard or B) I am entering menopause early and was having a hot flash. I was hot, sticky, sweaty, red in the face...sheesh.
(that's not because I was mad..it's how I physically felt....flames and steam) Thankfully somewhere around 12:30 I got somewhat comfortable
So, now that I'm home, I ate and will be taking a nap at some point in the morning. Brian is going over Liz and Chris' house "in the morning" (very obvious that they have planned this with no room for error, you understand, LOL) to do some work on the car or something to that effect.
Once he gets home I'll get up...and then I believe we are going down to my parents house to see Daddy on his day. He is working till 5 in NYC I believe...so we are going over in the evening for dinner.
I think that's about it....

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
LOL and here my hubby thought that Brian wasn't coming because the jack was in the garage when he got up this morning. now my drive way looks like a tire and lube center! I think that they are on their third tire roation and have changed my oil. Next the car wash is opening up. Fine by me, I am watching from the AC! lol

Today finds us packing up and heading to the beach. Hopefully it will be a bit cooler there.
Yesterday, we went to a graduation party. We haven't seen these friends for a couple of years, so it was an interesting day for me. It was pretty clear that none of them recognized me as they were introducing themselves to me. It was pretty funny when they realized they did know me. When I said I had wls, every single one of them was very supportive. It was a great WOW kind of afternoon and evening.
Happy Father's Day to the dads!!!! To those whose fathers are no longer around, may we find peace in our memories of them.

Today we are up and getting ready for church.
We turned the AC on last afternoon yesterday and Gene is finally feeling much better. He woke up singing some old doo wop song this morning to me
We are just about ready to go out the door for church, I'm taking my new camera to see if I can take some pictures of our guest choir and hand bell choir today.
After church we are heading to Gene's brothers for a BBQ/birthday party for Gene's mom.
Somewhere in all this activity I have to get to whole foods, I am out of Greek yogurt - it is the only protein Gene was eating all last week - he hate it but called it medicine so he could get it down
