***Freaking Friday Roll Call***
Good Morning PA,
The urge to use the other F word as an adjective in the Subject line is very strong. Mom and I had a major blow-up as I was driving her to visit my sister this afternoon. She told me to shove the cell phone I gave her, and laughed at me that I pay the extra $10 a month for her to be on my account.
My sister is doing well as can be expected. She does laps around the unit about once an hour. She is only allowed 2-3 ounces of liquid an hour, and they count her pain med as an ounce of liquid. She complains of pain in her left side, which the nurse and I believe to be gas. She did not know about the fluid and air being pumped in during surgery, so I explained that to her, as she weighed herself on a scale she saw in the hallway. They have her on a telemytry heart monitor for some reason, in addition to the IV fluid, and she is still in the hospital gown, and did not get to take a shower yet. She is looking forward to being discharged today.
So, I am up late making chicken broth for her. She likes my homemade soups, so I am making a huge pot of chicken soup, and straining it for her to have broth, as that powder stuff is crap. I will also make a bowl of Jello, as I doubt that Mom made any at this point.
Sometime today, I will head down to Jeanes, hopefully without Mom, and pick Sissy up and take her home, and get her settled in. Then, I will see if I have time for a swim, either early morning, or after I bring Sissy home. I am also chairing my AA homegroup at 6:30, which will give me an hour of sanity, hopefully, as my life has been anything but sane up till now.

Hi Trish and all of PA -Trish - sorry that she is driving you insane.....Maybe that is her SPECIAL gift?!?! HA HA HA! Glad you can be there for your sister! :)
I am up - mostly packed.....and READY for the summer to start! WAHOO!!!!!!!!!1 I am heading into school to finish "summering up" my classroom. I am one of the lucky teachers who does NOT have to move classrooms - so I am just putting things away. I am sure in September, I will be annoyed at how unorganized I was in June just shoving things in a closet or a bin. Oh well...at least I am consistent! :) Then I am OUTTA there about 1:45 to head to the mountains. I hope ALL of my friends call me between 2 and 4 so that I can weather the joy that is the Northeast Extension. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call me - wont be texting - because....well...."it isn't safe" so all conversations are welcome! :) I am looking forward to spending Shabbat with my Camp Harlam family. Sooo freaking excited. And - only yesterday did it occur to me that these people haven't seen me since last summer......THAT should be a huge wow. and I am hopeful that being able to function in the vast area that camp has, will also bring a ton of wows this summer! :)

Today I work 7:30ish to 4;00ish depending on what suprises my job has in store for me today. Many of my reports have been impacted due to some changes and upgrades to one of our databases, making my job functions much more difficult during this transition time. Coming up with new innovative ideas for queries to tackle these challenges is a major challenge in itself. Therefore many early mornings and staying after my actual 8 hrs has been happening more and more frequently. Then there are the negotiations to get the members the care they need, which also manage to happen two seconds prior to me leaving the building. I do enjoy my job and the challenges that come with it. If it was the same every day I'd get bored,
After work the gym, then home to see if my honey is feeling any better. Gene has been sick all week, fever, chills, congested, etc....

I am working until 4 we have a graduation party at 5 . Will be home early and get ready to go to Bayhead for some sun and fun!! Home on Sunday to celebrate Father's Day withall the Dad's in the family ! Six to be exact! I am in charge of marinated shrimp so a BJ run is in order over lunch!

sorry you are having issues with mom. Glad your sister is doing well though.
Today has me working for a change. I am going to grab Siehara and take a walk on my lunch break since it has been so nice out lately.
After work, I will probably head over to the gym for some strength training.
Tonight, Siehara's 1/2 sister is going to come over. She was originally coming to babysit because I was invited to a pool party, but she can only watch her til 1 or 1:30 and the party is in Lancaster, so my friend who invited me said that wouldn't be late enough ??? whatever...
Anyway, she is coming over and I think we are all going to go to the drive in movies to see Karate Kid and Shrek! I think Siehara would love the whole drive in experience.. as long as I coat her with bug spray so she isn't sitting there complaining about the bugs all night. I'm going to bring lawn chairs so we can sit outside of the car and really enjoy the night. If it's anything like last night, we are going to need to wear pants and maybe even bring blankets.
At some point today, I need to write up my little ditty for a Bar Mitzvah tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow night, I am going to karaoke with my new friend from Pottsville. He is coming here and we are going to the Eagles where my favorite hosts are going to be!
