Hey Nan, I took your message to Shilpa the other day about seeing what's changed since October for you and I went to your Fitday entries and there it was.   You are eating like a newborn babe and it's working.   Clean, PROTEIN and LOW carbs.   About the same numbers we adhered to between 3-6 mos. out.    Current NUTS are recommending 100-120 carbs as far out as we are; that's CRAZY! for us.     I'm printing some days off and following YOUR plan.   Ever think of getting in the NUT business???   hehehehe....by my way of thinking you've got 4 years experience, TRIED and TRUE.   Congrats!  Can't wait to see the BIG, Blazing SIGN go up that you've reached GOAL!!!   My hero!

Boy I've got a lot of homework to do if I'm anyones hero, I've been eating like this because my kitchen is under construction.  I'm supposed to get it back partially tonight.  Now we will see what happens.  I'm thinking of hanging a closed sign on it.

Keep in mind, we are all in the same boat.  I am just like everyone else, just had more to lose and lymphedema to battle.  But thanks for seeing me that way.

I'd say "unfreakingbelievable" BUT it IS COMPLETELY believeable, because it's you!  Your hard work and dedication is unparalleled.  You have found what works for you and have stuck with it.  Congrats, Nan!  A true true inspiration for all those after (and before) you!!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I'd say "Everyone has found what works for them, its just up to them to use what they learned to achieve what they want".  I know if I want to wear these clothes and live this life, I have to do what I do.

Nan, I am so happy for you!!!! What you have done with your tool is truly amazing, and I am so glad that you have proved all the "18 month window" people wrong!  You are most certainly an inspiration to me, and many others as well.  Can't wait to celebrate that huge milestone with you!
