***Wacky Wednesday Roll Call***

Good Morning PA,
I fear it will be a wacky Wednesday today.  My sister is having her lap band surgery today at Jeanes in Philadelphia, and I will be spending the time waiting with my Mother.  She and I had words yesterday concerning my daughter, and I am dreading the extended period of time with her.  I was told by someone in AA that Mom is good at pushing my buttons because she installed everyone of them, so she knows where they are.

Anywho, I had a good time babysitting my Munchkins yesterday.  We all had the joy of celebrating Isabel going poo in the potty all by herself.  The joys of a 3 year old granddaughter.

So, I am up with a sinus headache because I failed to take my allergy meds all day yesterday, till after 7:00 p.m.

Have a good day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Trish - Please send your sister the best from me and post when she gets out of surgery.  Good luck with your mom - bring LOTS to do to distract yourself! :)

Had a GREAT time last night with my oldest friends.  Dinner at PF Chang's, lots of laughs, a few pictures, and DAMN.....I was so NOT the fat girl!  I know that is kinda mean - but, well....you all get it! :)

Today should be interesting - when we get to school, there is a staff/student volleyball game - then my students will hopefully have one final practice for promotion exercises tomorrow and then the yearbook signing party this afternoon.  I will be staying late to help decorate and make sure the auditorium is set up for said promotion exercises and then dinner witha GREAT friend and off to Barix for a night of support and hugs and love!

I really have to start some packing - I am leaving directly from school on Friday to head to the mountains and for three days and want to take up as much as I can becuase the following Sunday = when we go back up - I will have ALL the kids stuff in the car.  Not sure how I am going to make this work!  Maybe I need to rent a truck to haul all of our stuff to camp....oh well!

Have a GREAT Wednesday everyone! :)

Hi all,

Today is a fairly busy day.  I have a Chiro appt this morning, then one with my OVR counceler then I have Zumba with my little friend.  Hopefully, next week, I can set up the class at the hospital.  I am wondering if I should alternate my class between low impact and high so everyone gets a chance to work out.  I know that I don't want to exclude anyone but the only folks that seem to come to support group are new postops.  I want to somewho get the others involved.  Thus, the exercise class.  Anyway that's all I have planned today.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Best of luck to your sister today Trish! And I'm sending strength your way.

We had a bit of a rough night last night so there isn't much on the agenda. I got stung on the toe by a bee last night - I forgot how much those little suckers hurt! lol. As for today I need to make some mini-cheesecakes for the graduation party saturday, tomorrow I'll do the rest of my cooking. Looks quite dreary out there - works for me, I need a nap and this will encourage it!

Have a great day all!

YAAAWWWWNNNNNNNNNN.. up way too late again.  Why do I do this to myself.  I didn't even SET my clock for 5 this morning because I knew it wasn't going to happen.  I got up at 6 to start working and I've been downing coffee like you wouldn't believe.  I think I need to keep some full caffeine stuff in the house for days like this.  I usually only drink 1/2 caff or decaf when I make it at home.

Anyway, working til 3:30
Today is Siehara's last day of school and they get out at 11:30.  She was invited to a friend's house for a pool party this afternoon.  I hope the weather holds out.  Another parent is going to pick her up from school and drive her over to the party.  I'll pick her up when it's over.

Tonight I am going to the gym for another spin class and some ab work.   Then, it's home to hopefully go to bed a bit earlier.  Siehara is going to want to stay up since she doesn't have school, but I'm still not going to let her stay up too late.  I need sleep, too.

That's it for me.. tomorrow I have my first appointment with the new surgeon so I can find out that my issues are in my head and not my pouch.  I also found out that there is a whole bariatric team at St. Luke's so I won't have to be going all over the place to find a nutritionist to help get me back on track.

Morning all - Trish, best of luck to your sister today - sending many prayers her way for a safe and healthy surgery and journey.

I'm back at work today to RELAX!! Had my annual mammo yesterday (which seems to be fine) and an ultrasound on my thyroid - the doc will have those results tomorrow. Tests were very early so I had the whole day to get things done, and man, did I get things done!! I was exhausted by the time last night rolled around but it was a good 'exhaustion' and god knows 2+ years ago I never would have been able to do all the things I did yesterday. I have been very lax when it comes to formal exercise so I'm hoping this gives me the incentive to get back on my bike and start again.

Woke up last night around 1:30 with a major hot flash - OMG sweat was coming out of every pore in my body - blech. Had me up for about 1/2 hour before I finally cooled off enough to fall back to sleep.

Some health issues going on with others in my family right now - hubby is going for a consult on Tuesday for cataract surgery - his sight is so bad but he doesn't realize just how bad - he will after he has the surgery - younger sister has 2 cysts on her arm that were MRI'd yesterday so we're waiting to hear on those - older sister is dealing with severe hip pain and is going for a shot in it on Thursday - she wants the doctors to 'do something' but all they keep telling her is to lose weight (thru WLS) but she says she can't do it - her husband was just diagnosed with NASH (non-alcoholic circosis) and was also told to lose weight and lay off the fatty meats and pork products (my sister calls him Mr. Porkchop) - so maybe with those diagnoses they will try to lose weight. We'll see.

As for me I'm fine (other than the damn hot flashes!) - hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning, all!!!

Trish---Good luck to your sister today!!!  And good luck to you spending time with your mother today!!!!

I think today is going to be quiet.  I may go craft with my friend for a little while.  I'm actually going to get to the meeting at Barix tonight!!  (Steffi---I know you want to make fun of people.  I colored my hair the other day, with a color I've used before.  But it came out really dark this time.  Feel free to poke fun---but don't get too mean!!  lol)  I'm also supposed to schedule my surgery today.  Unfortunately, because of the location of the fibroids, I can't have it done lap, so I get to have a big old incision.  Oh joy.  The doc is going to see if the first doc can do it sooner than she can (she's booked till late July).  I've decided, though, that I like the new doc better and am going to wait the 6 weeks for her.  That will go by pretty quickly anyway.

And now it's confession time.  I didn't say anything in yesterday's roll call because we wanted to see how it went first.  Paul and I went to New York yesterday and auditioned for Who Wants to be a Millionaire!  Crazy, huh???  We just applied last week and got the confirmation email on Monday.  We ended up going too early, but it worked out that we were able to go in and test with the first group.  There were probably 150 people in the room, and only about 15 were chosen for interviews after the test.  The other 2 people at our table were interviewed!  After the audition, we walked around and found a restaurant for dinner.  Then we went to the Empire State Building.  That place was crowded!!!  We ended up walking up 6 flights of steps rather than wait 25+ minutes for an elevator!  Yeah---me!!!  6 flights of steps!!!  And my knees weren't sreaming in protest!!!  lol  We also walked back down those steps, but down is sooo much easier.  Anyway, it was a fun day, but I'm exhausted today.

I haven't been sleeping too well the last couple of weeks.  Think I might try taking melatonin at night to see if that helps.

Have a great day, all!!!

In work but going to leave early right now at 4 so I can meet Dennis at home to go to dinner before the Barix meeting. Feel free to join us if you like we are going to Cheeseburger in Paradise around 5:15.

Last night I stopped at Kamrt to look for something for Dennis found an alternate to what I was looking for and he said it will work. Then I cooked dinner then we watched the president's speech then went to bed. Still need to fold the mountain of laundry I have building it is the least I can do since Den does all the laundry. I am a lucky girl!!!! My Aunt is amazed he does laundry because she knows that her niece HATES it. I would rather buy new clothes then do laundry.

Barix tonight for the meeting then home and sure bed will be soon after we return home for sure.
