granola bar recipe updateI
I've just edited the granola bar recipe posted in the "Today's Recipe" thread based on last night's experiment.
If you want the granola to be more "bar-like" and less crumbly, make it a thicker layer and pack it tightly (about 1 - 1.5 inches high). If you want to crumble it for yogurt, make a slightly thinner layer.
No matter which you do, it will be chewy. To make it less chewy and more crunchy, add less peanut butter/cashew butter and more oil.... but recognize that this will change the protein and fat content significantly.
Enjoy!
