Monday Workouts!

Good afternoon folks.

I did my hour on the elliptical this morning, but changed it up a bit. I picked up 10-lb. ankle weights at a yard sale this weekend, so I put those on for my workout. Boy, does it make a difference. A LOT more work involved.

I felt like I was waking on air whenever I got off the elliptical and took them off.

So, I'm good for the day, other than some gardening work tonight. How about you guys?

You did an hour with 10lbs ankle weights? OMG I am tired just thinking about it. I did 50 minutes on the Ellitical this morning. Still dragging from the weekend to NYC!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Something new today -- cardio kickboxing. I've never done that before, but I like the instructor so I'm giving it a try.

I am going to a one hour spin class tonight and then going to stay and do some arm and ab work. 

I haven't been to spin in a long time due to timing issues, so I'm sure it's going to hurt so good coming out of there tonight.

I was going to do my hour on the treadmill this morning, but instead I got Paul out for a walk with me.  I think we were out for at least 45 minutes, walking some 'hills' some of the time.  I also walked to my appointment this afternoon.  Ok, so that was only 3 blocks---but I say it still counts!

20 Minute arc trainer, hour treadmill and 30 minute trainer session for abs and lower body today.

I am sore, she kicked my butt!

I met with the new trainer right after work and then hit my karate class at 7:30.  He said he is going to start throwing yoga into the beginning of the classes.
