Barix Post -Op Meeting 6/16 w/changes!

We have listened to what you have had to say if you attend the Barix support group meetings. So starting this week we will break down the Post-Op meeting into groups by time out from surgery. Not as many break downs at the Saturday meetings but still smaller groups. 

 We hope those of you that are further out from surgery join us for support.

We are also working on starting our meetings closer to the start time of 7pm. We will do our announcements ( surgeversary's) then we will break down to groups. We want this to be a smooth process but being the first time we may have some bumps in the road.

Lap Banders, Rnyers and visitors come on out. Remember we focus on post op topics not pre op topics at this meeting! 

If you have any clothing to share please feel free to do so just remember to take back whatever does not get taken. It can not remain at Barix.

We are trying to make the support group meetings the best out there( even though I think we already at that point). Yet please keep in mind all of our Barix Support Group Leaders volunteer our time and we do more behind the scenes then you may know. So we are trying to make everyone happy yet we know we may never reach that goal.

I hope we have time to break down into groups. There are ALOT of surgiversaries this month, including MINE!!I will try to keep mine short and sweet.

Thanks so much!!! Sorry you are going to miss the meeting, but I know you will be there in spirit. I am going to take the clothes that you gave me to the meeting, see if we have anymore takers. I got six pairs of pants and a couple of tops, so THANKS!!!

Well look at what the cat drug in.....that would be ME.  Unless something ridiculous happens in the very near future (which I would TOTALLY appreciate nothing happening thank you very much) I will freaking be there! There may be a snowball forming in hell...I made it to a saturday meeting in May...Karen's cooking class...AND...a WEDNESDAY in June?!  Nice!
