Good Morning Pa!  Wow...not a whole lot of activity on the board yesterday...and I was gonna use this time to catch up on it!  Guess not, lol

The humidity is supposed to be pretty high till about 3pm...in the 90% range or so until then...then down to about 56%....fun times for us curly haired folks I might add.

Tonight has been a WONDERFUL change of pace for LVH CC  Not saying anything else.

On the way home must stop at the grocery store - never made it there yesterday and I need stuff...lunch meats...fruits...veggies otherwise I have very little to pack for lunch tonight!

Then of course pack said lunch and hopefully be in bed by 9am...I'm exhausted today...didn't get a good nap in yesterday so it makes the first night back a doozy.

Back to work tonight 1900-0700....in triage tonight so somebody feel free to play with me either here or via text....I have my cell charger for my phone all ready and everything (not that I would EVER text while at work mind you...lol)

Stay cool, dry, and HYDRATED please!!!!!  We had a few cases of true dehydration/heat exhaustion already this season...and it's to early for that crap!

Yep - concussive syndrome.  We tell patients to expect a few weeks.  However, if the pain CHANGES at all, go back to the ER....never can be "to" careful!  Feel better!  What meds did they put you on?  Just be aware if they are narcotic - you shouldn't be driving or working with it.  And...because of the bypass...if you find the meds are only helping for a few hours (like 2) you may need to start crushing them and taking them in a bit of pudding or applesauce (it still tastes nasty that way...but it helps the absorption and makes it last longer...)

**ok, don't know why my computer initially put this under MY post...having trouble with oh this morning...not sure if it's on my end or theirs...but annoying either way!**

Ok....sorry so late on this...I posted it a bunch of times yesterday morning...but it kept showing up under MY post, not yours.  Not sure if it will work any better now, but figured I'd give it a try

Muggy Good Morning All - At work today - same old, same old.

Had a great weekend - think I'm finally done celebrating my birthday  - appears I have transitioned from collecting Snowbabies to collecting wine glasses?! But we had a wonderful weekend with friends and finished it off with dinner out with friends last night. Haven't had chinese in a long, long time and while I know it's not the best choice of food for me but I splurged and have more than enough left over for dinner tonight (sans rice - re-cooked rice does not sit well in the pouch ).

Tomorrow I'm off - annual mammo in the morning followed up by an ultrasound on my thyroid - doctor thought she felt a nodule when she examined me so wants me to get that checked out - wouldn't surprise me if I did have some sort of thyroid issue - mother and both sisters had issues with theirs so we'll see what happens. I feel fine.

And that's about it for me today...hope everyone has a great day!!

Good morning Pam/Pa,

Going to be a rainy Monday.  Still not feeling terrific today but I have got to get into work.  The concussion I  got from the car accident last week is still here and although the headache is a little duller, it is still here.  The doctor gave me some prescription pills for the headache, but it is only helping a little.

For the most part, I stayed in bed and rested the entire weekend.  They are saying the headache could last a couple of days to a couple of weeks.  I sure hope it goes away soon.

Have a great Monday all.

unless you are going to shell out the bucks for me to get a new PC, let's be optimistic and continue to call it the blue screen of doom and not death.  Can you please?
