***Silly Saturday Roll Call***
I am struggling tonight with my prissy pouch. I overdid some rich food at lunch, and then nibbled too much tonight, instead of having a decent supper. My pouch is rebelling, and I feel lousy.
Saturday has me heading to an AA meeting in the morning, and then tidying my apartment and heading to the gym for a swim. In the evening, I may venture to my sister's for Mom's Scrabble game.
In any case, this yuckiness must pass.
Hugs,
Trish

Ahhh, the rebellions of a prissy pouch. I feel for ya...I think many of us have been there done that....Feel better!
I'm a little over half way through my shift at the heart....it was steady in the beginning which was nice...and now I've got two patients..both of which are part of the "bed and breakfast club" as we call it. Meaning they sleep in our bed all night, we give them breakfast, and then sometime in the morning after 7am they are either transferred to a unit upstairs or to a facility other than ours. Easy peasy though...cause I just have to watch them sleep and update v/s on them (which the machine does automatically I might add)
Anyway - going home...will attempt to take a nap...and then to Karen's for cooking class, hugs to friends, and just jibber jabbering away. Still unsure if Brian is coming w/ me. At first he wasn't going to - he had work to do on his parents jeep - but he ended up doing that yesterday so now his day has opened up. Trying to convince him to come....
After that...I don't think I have any plans. Regardless if I get a nap in or not...I'll be tired early so it'll probably be sitting on the patio just enjoying nice weather, veg in front of the tv, and then bed early. Back to work on Sunday :(
See a lot of ya later on today!

Ahh yes, the perils of eating too rich foods, as Pam said, been there a time or two myself. . . hope you feel better today and enjoy what you have planned for the day.
Well my plans today include Roxie and the dog park, as well as dropping my roommate off at work, dyeing my hair and then my guy is coming down for the weekend and we will be doing something fun, possibly going to Momouth Park and staying at the Shore overnight tomorrow.
Well that's my plans and unfortunately the weather may not cooperate with them, but then we will find something else to do. . .
Wishing everyone a great weekend and peace and strength to get through whatever life brings to your door.
Hugs, Laureen

Have to do the normal Sat. chores, looking forward to cooking class and seeing some of you again and very much looking forward to meeting the rest of you.....No plans this evening and to be honest I am thrilled to just chillax with my family! Hearing your stories and and being lucky enough to listen to your tips and advice is sooooo worth it.......Can't Wait!!!
See you later! Pam Rock
Yea, I haven't been too nice to my body either. I saw a friend of mine last night and she has lost tons of weight. She really looked great. I sat there thinking, well, I won't look like that but I could look better ( all this saggy stuff ya know). I am having a little 11 year old friend of mine exercise with me a couple times a week. Hopefully, this well jump start my workout program.
Today is errands as usual.
I'm up early (thanks to needy cat) - I like to sleep a bit extra on saturday, but that didn't happen - oh well - Heading in to the shower, getting a manicure / pedicure, then heading to cooking class - and am really looking forward

I ground the chicken and turkey for the sausage last night and made the onion dip last night - this whole sausage thing is going to be interesting - my grandfather was a butcher and my dad used to make sausage with him - he was giving me tips last night, (one of which was to use pork butt, however, we are going with skinny versions today and I hope they come out ok - like I said, should be interesting) - As of now, Mark is coming with me, he wants to leave at 3, so those of you that are there will need to make him forget that he wanted to leave
Back home to finish spreading the remnants of that damn mulch pile and finish potting..
if anyone knows of anyone that needs a full set of dishes, let me know - I have service for 12 with completer pieces that are left over from the garage sale - if no one does, I'm going to donate them.. lemme know...! here is a link to the pattern: http://www.microwavecookingforone.com/StudioNova/StudioNovaAttitudes.html

Chris is off today so weather permitting we'll be out in the yard for a bit, I have a few basil plants to put in the garden. That and just enjoy a day together - we haven't had one in 2 weeks!
