Thanks Pam and my other friends. Believe it or not, I really don't like drawing attention to myself in person (on here, I've got no issues). A few people got the scale pic and Steffi pestered me the entire time she was there to tell everyone. I didn't foresee Pam blindsiding me and sharing my news....lol. That's ok though, the positive encouragement at Karen's house and on here felt pretty good. I am still not totally comfortable talking about my numbers in person, but am happy to here.

Initial consult - 3/08 - 568lbs
Surgery - 11/08 - 557lbs
Passing my personal goal - 6/10 - 249.2lbs

So thanks everyone for your support. And thanks to Pam and Steffi for making me or trying to make me take credit for my accomplishment!

Now see, at least ONE of your friends thought to ask you before opening her mouth at the group....sigh....SERIOUSLY didn't mean to blind side you like that.

Well, anyway - you SHOULD take credit for your accoplishmentS (notice the S to signify pleural, please)  It's definately hard for any of us to do....but it's an important stepping stone along the path of successing.

And I can relate to talking about it "here" but not in person...even though we all "know" each other...there is a certain type of animinity here on the board..somehow, at least my brain, doesn't correlate what I'm "saying" on the board as "real" as saying it face to face.  Screwy, I know.

Congratulations again, though, Eric.  You definately deserve it!!!
