Really happy to see that you are taking care of yourself and trying to move on right now - I know you have a long, hard road ahead of you but take things one day, or even one step at a time - but getting out with your kids, putting nice clothes and make-up on always makes me feel better. And trust me, down the road your ex is going to be kicking himself for walking out on you. So you move on with your life and leave his behind.

ps: A mini-pity-party for oneself is okay once in a while but don't let it become habit-forming!!

Sad that the Flyers lost, but they gave it their all.  I'm proud of them


Today has me at work til 3:30.  After work, I'll try not to drive by the gym and actually go in and work out.   

After that, I need to stop and pick up some coffee at Bed, Bath & Beyond.  We have a Keurig single cup brewer and BBB has the best selection.  Keurig brewers are truly awesome.  If any of you are thinking of getting one, go for it.  It is the best coffee maker ever !  Although the
K-cups are more expensive, it's worth it for the convenience of not having to brew up a whole pot which half would end of down the drain anyway.  I also need to hit the grocery store, but I'm not sure if I feel like doing that tonight.  I may wait until tomorrow night for that.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MY KEURIG!! I've had one for almost 2 years because as my mom got weaker she would either spill coffee grounds everywhere or brewed coffee - or make several pots away and end up throwing so much of it away. While she was still alive it was pricey getting the K-cups (I get mine at BB&B as well) but now that its just hubby and I we only have to fire the unit up on weekends and coffee lasts a long time - we have one at work, too.

Kathy - I talked my boss into getting us one for the office as our holiday gift 2 years ago.  It has been the greatest for our office.  No more fighting over who cleans the coffee pot !

Up this morning in work but last night we finsihed up shopping for Dennis he is all set for vacation. We got some amazing deals at Kohl's and I never went into the women's section. But I did get some flip flops

We then got a call froma friend that was in trouble do to her ex smashing her car window so we went to make sure she was alrugth and wait for the cops with her. My heart breaks because him and his kids will not leave her alone. If you didn't know her you would not believe some of the things he has done to her. Even to Dennis one night and I WILL never forgive him for at all.

Well today is a new day in work then afterwards I am going to hit the supermarket we are running out of everything and I am determined to cook meals instead of going out to eat so much. I cooked all week so far makes me proud of myself.

If the cops didn't stress this to your friend, please pass this along - violence to her property (including harassment) indicates that he is capable of violence to HER.  She needs to work with a women's shelter and "disappear" so that he cannot find her.  Period.  It may mean her life.  I would hate to see her become another one of the horrible statistics.

    This is just another act that is on a  long list of things that have occured. TRUST me she has many things in place I doubt it was him personally because of on going legal issues. She is very protected as far as the legal side of things go and her home is very secure. He is already on probation for violence to her hence me doubting it was him that did the actual deed. Yet one not put it past one of his children.
The thing is they are not to bright so end up getting caught with about 99% of the things they have done.

Happy today to see I lost over 50lbs in less than 41 days. 

Get to go flying today and test out some new software on the airplane. Should be a good day.

Had two truck loads of mulch dropped at the house so my weekend will be full also.
