I will be at 9 weeks post-op on Friday.  I have lost 73 pounds since my surgery, but I have been at basically the same weight for the last week and a half.  I will loos a pound and gain a pound and then lose it again

It's normal.  I don't even think they call it a stall unless it lasts for several weeks!  Don't forget to track your inches too!  They show weightloss when the scale doesn't.  Just don't worry the scale will move again!

Yep - it's normal... you can expect another big one around 6 - 9 months or so... it's all part of your body adjusting to the change in nutrition, plus the hormonal changes of losing all that fat.

Also meant to mention that the "losing and gaining and losing" is simply a reflection of the normal fluctuations your body goes through day over day... how much water you have in your tissues, when you pooped last, the weight of the last meal you ate, etc.  It's normal to fluctuate as much as 2 pounds in any 24 hour period, which is why "they" say to weigh yourself only once a week, at the same time of the day, wearing the same clothes, etc.  (This from someone who DOES weigh themselves daily because it's how I keep my mind focused on the ongoing task at hand.)

Thanks Karen...My poop cycle is weird...I won't at all for 3 days, and then I will poop twice in one day

Welcome to the wonderful world of WLS pooping.  Totally different beast than pre-surg.

LOL.

Yup - TOTALLY normal!!

73 pounds in 9 mos?  FANTASTIC job!!

Make sure you are doing the basics...lots of water...protein goals...exericse daily...and the weight WILL come off.  It just takes time and sometimes your body resists resists resists for up to a few MONTHS at a time.  I certainly hope this doesn't last for months, and this early out, it probably won't.  Buuuuut, warning you things could happen.  Your body will fight you tooth and nail - but you will be the "winner" in the end...YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
