Morning all - hopefully the Phillies will get their game in tonight, but then again it would be a lot less traffic in South Philly! Not that I intend on going down there, but...

I'm at work - so far just me and the new summer intern - not sure where everybody else is this morning - sleeping in??

I'm having one of those 'bad' outfit days - girls, you know what I mean - had decided on what to wear last night - got my good brown slacks out only to find the hem on one leg was completely out, so couldn't wear them - put on another pair of brown slacks and now I know why I had shoved them to the back of the closet - stupid zipper won't stay up! Have a really cute top on but its one of those that wrinkles like crazy - knee hi stockings keep falling down on one leg - yup - its gonna be one of THOSE days - pulling stuff up and down and shifting - ugh.

Tonight not much on my agenda - made a turkey breast in the crockpot yesterday so we'll be having that again tonight with a side so not much cooking to do - laundry is done for now - gee, maybe I'll have a chance to get on my bike!

Hope everyone has a great day - GO FLYERS - GO PHILS!

Good Morning.

Organizational orientation is OVER. Oh thank goodness! Today I have nursing orientation this afternoon, and tomorrow it will be 8-1.

So this morning, I will catch up on some laundry, do some dishes, hang with kiddos then head to work. This evening we are making a 2 hour trek to our friends house in Maryland to pick up some gokart parts that he is GIVING us, then driving back home. I am so thankful for the free parts, it's 350 bucks worth of stuff we don't have the money for. Thank goodness for well off, generous friends. LOL. It's nice how some of those guys who have been racing together for 20 plus years help each other out.

Then of course home and bed!

Hope everyone enjoys their day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

GOod morning all. I never did make it to the grocery store yesterday, couldn''t function any longer. I did have them check my iron and B12 when I was at the Dr and should have those results on friday. I hope they can offer a solution I can't take this feeling much longer! I didn't sleep well last night either. I fed Amelia at 1:30 and she was fussy so I sat in our bed with her for a while, well I guess she had a bit of an upset tummy because the entire bottle came back up all over her and me. After that she just wanted to be held, so we slept in the recliner all snuggled up. She ate the next few bottles with no problem so I am not worried.

As for today my Dad was so kind to go to the grocery store and pick up my order (I ordered it online) so he'll be dropping that off later this morning. I'll have to put the groceries away, I have some laundry to do and just resting.

Have a good day all and stay dry

Liz,

Hope your iron and B12 levels are good.  Everyone always says get plenty of rest "before" the baby....you're finding out why - lol - When my first daughter was born, I used to wish for just 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep.  The broken sleep is tough when they are newborns.

Hope you get some rest today.  Amelia is beautiful.

THanks! She is a great baby. She sleep for 3 hours at a time normally and I am OK with that. Some nights she just wants to be held and won't sleep in her crib. I LOVE snuggling her but I do love to sleep in bed too!

I WILL be napping today when she does!

I also hope your iron and B12 are okay.  Mine suck most of the time, so I empathize.  Be sure you are resting when she is resting.  The dust bunnies can wait till later.

Hugs,
Trish

Good day to stay home in bed but I am here at work. If plans fall into place I will be meeting a friend for lunch. I told my boss I may take a long lunch if that is the case he was fine with it so that may help make the day go by fast.

Tonight I took out some chicken bites and will make a side with them to have a fast dinner. Then we are heading out to go shopping for Den for vacation he needs some new shorts and I think we will all done except for our toiletries.

I am slowly runniing out of everything so a trip to the market needs to be on the agenda very soon. If I have food in I am less likey to say let's go out to eat and just make dinner.

Hi all!!!

Got my hour in on the treadmill early this morning, as well as did a load of laundry.  We met a friend for breakfast and hung out at the restaurant for a while, just talking.  We went to 2 grocery stores, one discount and one regular, so I could get the stuff to make Eggface's muffaletta salad.  Now we're home and just hanging out, enjoying a rainy day.

Enjoy your day, all!!

Hi Trish, PA!

Busy day, no real time to be here, on lunch now, but need to get back to my work projects and just wanted to drop by and say hello. . .

GO FLYERS!!!

Take care and have a nice day, Laureen
