So - I thought I would do a quick edit for you all - meeting with Rabbi was fine - she did want to talk with me about my inability to get things done in a timely manner - we talked about concrete ways to not have it happen year after year.....There will be financial ramifications in the future if these concrete changes do not take place.  I totally agree - and I NEED someone to hold me accountable for the paperwork.

Also, Larry and I had a bit of a breakthrough today, yet another marriage hurdle to jump, but we are in this for the long haul and NEITHER of us want the kids!  (JK!)

Thanks for all your love and support!!!!!!!

Steffi :)

So it is midnight and I am up - not necessarily awake - but I am up.  I have to finish report cards for my Hebrew School students that were due last week. My rabbi asked me to come in to talk with her 10 minutes before our meeting tomorrow which leads me to believe she is going to do something that will put me in my place. Could be just a talking to - doubt it - she has done that before - to a cut in my pay becuase I have not done lesson plans in months, to possibly even firing me - So - needless to say my mood is not the best right now.

Does not help that Larry and I are fighting big time and he went to bed without even a "good night"  Should be a banner day for me tomorrow!  I have to get up early to finish the report cards, I am about 60% done and am not seeing straight - so I am getting up early to take care of them.  We have a meeting from 9AM til noon.  At least I will be out of the house so there will be a few hours that Larry and I are NOT arguing!  Then in the afternoon we are headed into Radnor for a viewing of an Israeli Baseball program in which my nephew will be raising money for this special program as his Mitzvah (good deed) project for his Bar Mitzvah in September.

Then home to get ready for the Flyers game.  I am so bleh right now - that I can't even think about getting excited for it!  Oh well.....

Hope you all have a nice, quiet and peaceful Sunday!

Hugs Steffi.  I hope that your 'talk' is only a 'talk'.  And fighting happens... from what you have told me... he will cool off.

today finds me doing sewing.  My group of Medieval friends will be coming over and helping me do some Viking clothing.  Because I've lost so much weight.. none of my other outfits fit... and.. there is a big event happening in a couple months and I soooo need clothes

hope everyone has a great day

Bad weather moving in!  I hope everyone stays safe.

I feel sometimes like I am on an out of control runaway train heading for a clift.  No way to stop it.  Things are stirring up in the world all over.  Now is the time to figure out what the priorities are.  I know I need to.

Hang in there! Huuugzzz

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Good morning Steffi and PA,

*Hugs* Steffi -- you're always such an upbeat and bubbly person.  Good luck with your meeting today -- lots of positive thoughts coming your way!  Hope you and Larry work through the rough patch....every couple goes through this - just sorry it's happening to you right now -- *hugs*

I had the best day yesterday.  The Barix support group is just the *******oved seeing so many beautiful people and meeting new ones.  Lynn, Deb and I went out for lunch afterwards and had some good laughs at the restaurant.  What an enjoyable day!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Debbie

Good morning PA!

Steffi, I hope that things settle in a good way for you today.

Today is church, and then pretty much "mine." Mike is out of town through Monday night for a work event in Houston. I need to finish freezing my strawberries....kind of overdid on how many I bought. I also need to pay bills and organize the mail from last week but we'll see how much of that really gets done.

Yesterday at Barix was terrific. ALWAYS worth the trip and really enjoyed lunch afterwards!

PS. to Beth - Thanks for the directions to GNC on Cottman! Found it!

Good morning everyone.

Only think of one stress at a time. The other will just have to wait for you. This way you are not overwhelmed.

Today I will try to build my first wooden screen for my 1931 house. this will match the time frame. Only difference is that I am adding studs to the window to eventually put on plexi glass for the winter months to help with the heat loss of old windows.

Maybe Marmaduke with the kid today.

Been meaning to ask what you do for a living.  You've mentioned test flights and I think flight plans recently, so I'm curious.  My step-son has wanted to be a pilot for forever, so it gets my interest when flying is mentioned.

I am an aviation installation design engineer.  A fancy word to say I put new cool stuff in airplanes. Then I fly with them to make sure they work okay.
I am also a pilot but that is not my main job. I love flying but I do not get to do enough of it as my weight became a problem.

Oh, that's so cool!!!  I'll have to tell Anson, my step-son, about what you do.  He's always wanted to be a pilot and said today he'd like to fly commercial planes, but he's also said he'd like to be an aeronautical engineer.  His dad has talked to him about going to Embry Riddle, and he's definitely interested in going there.  (His mom wants him to go into the medical field and go to Duke or Cornell.  We're hoping Embry Riddle and his dream win!!)
