need to vent

 I figured out would come on here and post is the best thing that I can do. I'm so depressed I have not been able to take my Lexpro let along see the psy doc to speak with him I have not see my suregon in I don't kow how many months and to top it off form all the steriods I was on I GAINed weight. I have not been able to do any of this because I don't have the money all because I missed somethign in my c hecking acct that has put me into over draft it's visous cycle to get out of. I went to my bank to get personal loan to add money so that i stop all of this but nop they don't do personal loans and my credit score is 530 so I could not get credit card they wanted me to get. Oh to top this off work is making all of this worse.

I don't  know what else to do but post on here ot vent. I'm off tomorrow I need to do something to get out of the house to help with my depression I need something

So sorry that you are going through this difficult time. You know the old saying, "When it rains, it pours". I understand financial problems since we are dealing with that as well. It is good that you thought of posting here. If nothing else, you know that you are not alone!  Could you call your G.P doctor and explain that you need some samples of the lexapro for the next couple of weeks? I have done that in the past and they usually do have samples of lexapro because it is a very popular prescription.

If I wasn't working tomorrow I would tell you to come over and we could walk, talk, or whatever to get your mind off of things. I find that if I keep myself busy, that helps me from depression and just thinking about how things are going to get paid. Believe me there are plenty of people out there who are dealing with the same stuff!!

   I am sorry that you are going through this and sometimes we can not get ahead to save our lives. Try to take a deep breath step back and see what all is going on to see what problem can be tackled first.
Like Beth suggested call your PCP doctor explain that you can not fill your script for the Lexapro ask if they can please provide you with samples for at least a month. Most doctors will do that and once back on teh meds the depression will ease.

  If your bank will not give a loan will they offer you over draft protection so this does not happen in the future? If not maybe you will want to look into another bank to help you set things up. Money is such a stressor for me I spend more when I am stressing over money. Things will work out.

Same ting can you call your psych doctor to explain it is a rough patch and need to see him but can you be billed.

Once back on track you the weight will come off again we never lose the abilty to work the tool surgery gave us.

Hang in there keep venting to us and we listen ...

So sorry you are going through a rough time.  These things do pass but make sure you surround yourself with friends and family for support. 

Venting here is a great way also.  I suggest though that you GO see your doctor.  They are vital to our wellbeing along with our support systems.

Sorry to hear you are going through this.  The ideas above to try to obtain samples could help you in the short term.  Another thought is to look in to the Forest Pharmaceuticals Patient Assistance Program.  The link below has info about the qualifications and an application form.  I have been in this situation with my parents who I support financially and it is a tough road.  I hope that this helps.

Thank you all for your adv and letting me vent. I know that I made the rigth choice by coming in here. I do have over draft protection, I don't have no c cards so I don't have to worry. I will have to call my pcp to see what he says.

 My nana wants to help shes said take loan out at my bank and pay it back and she will co sign for it I told her no I can't do tht but the money would help me thought get cough up and head on things as well

If she is willing to help..Let her. It is hard to accept help sometimes when money is involved but if relieves some pressure it maybe the way to go.

two things go on the website for the company that makes lexapro if your doctor doesn't have samples although they usually do.  and as far as your grandmother I think it will resolve the bank problem and I am sure she will let you pay her back in payments and I always hated to take help but hey it is what it is and I know another bank will not help a friend of mine did overdraft and tried to open up another accout somewhere else and they told her no her mom had to help her out and she paid her back end of story but sometimes we have to swallow our pride and start somewhere and its wonderful that someone cares enough to do that.
