Well, finally a piece of good news today.  Last week got a call after my pre-admission testing that my EKG was abnormal.  Scared the **** out of me and hence I had to go to the Cardiologist to be checkedc out.  That happened this morning and they re-took the EKG and got similar results however after talking the doctor clearedc me for surgery and told me I was a low risk for heart disease at this time despite my weight which doesn't help but I am not a smoker or real drinker, still get womanly issues and my tests for blood tests are good as far a not being a diabetic, having an issue with thyroid or having high cholestrol.  All work in my favor and he cleared me for surgery!!!  WOOO HOOO time to get motivated again and the excitment is back despite some issues with making it through the actual surgery due to recent losses within my family.  Surgery is only 6 days away now...6/8 is a new chapter to come!!

Glad to hear it!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your family losses - but I'm gonna guess that your family (past and present) would want you to be completely happy and healthy for a VERY long time, and this is a step in that direction.  Families can sometimes have difficulty accepting this surgery, and I hope this is not the case for you.

Good job in persevering through this and getting your clearance!

Wow - less than a week a way - hang on for the ride of your life!

Thanks all for your continued supporrt.  My mother and two of her brothers died in the month of March this year within a three week period of each other.  It was and is hard on our family.  Most of my friends and family are supporting the surgery and I knew that my mom wanted me to have the surgery but was trying her best not to hound me to have it and to let me make up my mind.  She kne in essence she would lose weight as well in the long run by eating healthier with me.  I know my mom would still like me to have the surgery and is watching over me from up above.  there are 1 or 2 in my family that are not so supportive of the surgery and probably think it is the rong time to have it especially since I am responsible for taking care of my dad 90% of the time, however they could step up in my place if they choose too...but not likely to happen.  I have other family members and friends willing to bring food by for dad and help out where theyt can with both of us especially for the first week or so.  Despite all this I am moving forward to a healthy and sexier me...lol  Thanks again all.
