*** Weekend Wednesday Roll Call ***

Trish, I hold on to the hope that enforcing rules will help him in the future. It just feels pointless some days! When he was younger, I honestly thought he was going to be my easy one! WRONG! Oh, and he is soooo sarcastic all the time. Lord, I don't know where he gets that from! (eye roll!)

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

My older son is a doll, who works hard, and plays by the rules.  His brother is another story, but I still pray.  We were strict with them in the teen years.  Stand your ground.  We in the adult world have to follow rules, or we get consequences, like tickets for speeding, or broken relationships, or lack of pay for not working.  Kids need to learn that is part of life.

Hang in there.

Well, Eri****rtainly won't chastise you for calling this your weekend...because theoretically, it is my Sunday.  I had off last night, and have off tonight, back to work tomorrow night.

Got a call from the monster in law just a few minutes ago...what a way to start the day.  ugh.

I'm tentatively busy today, lol.  First things first, I definately need to organize the stuff in my car for my cousins.  He didn't get in touch with me yesterday, so I'm calling him today.  I really want the kids to have that stuff and soon, not to mention...I can't STAND the way my car looks right now.

Then I need to get to Sam's Club for a bunch of stuff, and probably the food store as well for some things I didn't get last week.

Brian has to go to school today to meet with a counsellor and then sign up for classes.  He may end up going to jersey right after that, his mom has a f/u doctors appointment that he wants to voice some concerns at.

If that happens, it'll be just me for dinner....

Enjoy the new car!

Good Morning Eric and PA,
I fell asleep on the couch last night and did not take my bedtime meds...not a good thing.  I can't take them this morning or I will be zonked out for the day.

Today has me cleaning and working on a project for my granddaughter.  Then, at lunchtime I am heading to see her, and take her swimming at my gym.  They have family swim in the afternoon.  I am looking forward to this immensely.  She loves the pool and I love the pool.

Tonight I will get to an AA meeting and crash again.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Eric and everybody - so Eric, what kind of car are you getting?? And yeah, sadly the Philly teams are stinking up the joint right now, but this is pretty typical of the Phillies around this time of the season - they'll pull it together - but for now, GO FLYERS!!

I'm at work today - had planned on getting up at 4:30 to ride my exer bike but it just didn't happen, so I am going to press to do it tonight. I'm still trying to get in this whole cooking thing - last night we got home late as it was, then changed, made dinner, cleaned up and walked the dog - now that it's nice outside everybody is out walking so I end up doing more chatting then walking - the dog isn't liking it much either. But it feels good to be out in the neighborhood talking to everyone.

Tonite is taco salad for dinner - last night it was grilled chicken ceasar salads - trying to get us on a healthier evening meal routine - away from the heavy stuff - especially for the summer months.

Not much else new for me - just work...take care everyone.

Good Morning. Enjoy your weekend! It'smine too - except my "sunday" isn't until mid-august lol

Congrats on the new car! Whatcha getting??

As for me, we are home again today. I should be driving in the next few days but really don't have anywhere I have to go so I am not too worried about it. Amelia and I will be hanging at home today- doing laundry, washing dishes, making dinner. Oh and my Grandmother is stopping over later to visit. How's that for exciting???

Wow.. Wednesday already? Still in a haze here.

Terrible, uncomfortable night sleeping last night, but apparantly that makes for good weight loss as I woke up 8 lbs lighter this morning. All that tossing and turning burns calories, I suppose.  I think I overdid it yesterday. I stupidly started to clean the house. Bad idea. Why can't I listen

I guess I'll have to root for the Flyers since my Pens are out this year. Would be nice to keep it in the state.

Son is going to the zoo with friends this morning. I wish I was, but nervous for such a long outing w/o my husband and my own means of transport at this point. I'd hate to have something happen and make my friend and her children have to leave on my account.

Have a good day, all!!
