I just dumped..
THAT'S DUMPING??? All this time I thought I just wasn't tolerating what I was eating and I live in FEAR of dumping!!! DANG, I've already DONE that! Puke...check!
I hate it when something comes back that I've eaten before. Chicken especially! It seems like 2 out of 10 times that I eat chicken I toss it back.
I really like couscous too and I've eaten it once and I've "dumped" it back out once...guess couscous will be one of my "you knew better" foods.

I think we all have a different idea of what dumping is. To me, not tolerating a regular food is not dumping, it's just getting sick and puking of something that didn't want to stay down.
Dumping to me is:
sweats
nausea
diarrhea
vomiting
curling up in the fetal position and wanting to die
Swearing "I will NEVER do that again!"
And this happens to me with Lactose and Sugar. (Bye Bye Ice Cream Forever!)

Shilpa,
I have no problems with rice, but never eat more than a couple of tablespoons and it's always brown rice, but some days I can tolerate beef and others NOT, sometimes even chicken gives me a problem, most of my problems come in the form of reheated foods. . . not fun, but sometimes it's nice to know that my pouch still rules. . . makes me cognizant of what I am eating, which is a good thing. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen
