Morning Steffi.. quick post for me

Feeling good after the trail ride.  My tush is a bit sore, but overall I feel good.  I'm glad we went, though I don't know if I would place it high on my "want to do again" list.  Though, I'm sure if it came up again, I would do it so I could feel more comfortable on the horse.    Siehara is pretty sore today.  I guess all the quad work I do at the gym came in handy.

Today we are taking it easy.  We are going to take my step mom out for lunch.  Her birthday was yesterday, so we are going to do lunch today.  We'll hang out with her for a bit at her house.

Then, we will come home and just hang out at the pool and relax.  I had a busy weekend and need to just relax today.  Looking forward to it.  I'll bring some trashy magazines and maybe the Harry Potter book I have been trying to read for months.  Maybe I can fini**** at the pool if I don't fall asleep in the chair again.

Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing, and safe day!  AND please take a few minutes to remember why we (well most of us) have today off.  Too many soldiers have given the ultimate sacrifice for us.

Good Morning Steffi & PA:

Lazy day today.  Staying around the house.  We thought about taking the Harley out, but then traffic on the way home would be crazy and since I didn't think ahead and take tomorrow off and Gene sees clients tomorrow we could not just stay out and come home late tomorrow.  Maybe next weekend will be the weekend to go out and get lost :-)

I do have to run out to AC Moore to pick up and album for all dad's pictures of his party.  I thought about making a scrap book but then decided the photo album will be better for him.  A small photo album is better for him to carry to show his friends.

We also have to figure out what critter is under the shed again this year.  The critter will decide what bait to put in the trap to catch the little varmet.  So far I haven't caught the critter out from under the shed yet.  Last night we did go to Lowes to pick up boxes of camphor balls to put in the current holes that are dug.  This morning nothing has dug out so we are hoping that last night whatever is under there was out when we put the camphore under there.

Back to work tomorrow.....I think I need a vacation.  I'm not ready to go back yet.  Gene and I have to start planning something.  June is so busy I don't think we're getting away in June.  Hoping for July.

Hope everyone enjoys today.  Remember our military - this is their day - A big thank you to my son-in-law for his service in the Army to this country and to my dad who is a WWII Air force Vet.

We are home after our weekend in DC - Had a great time - we walked and walked and walked, saw every monument there is to see and then we biked to Arlington National Cemetary and then we walked and walked and walked some more. I'll post pics on FB (Maura Mullen)

I didn't complain, I kept up, my feet didn't hurt and that made me very happy!!!

Am looking forward to bed early....

xoxo,

Maura
