Need some help
I like plain ol' Sudafed (or the CVS generic) -- the real one that they keep behind the counter and you have to show your license to buy. It's a tiny red pill, and I've never had trouble with it, even right out of surgery. If it's allergies, I recommend Zyrtec (or again, the generic equivalent). I've been taking that since the day after surgery with no problems.
I hope you feel better!

Colds stink! But you got all the right answers...anything containing Acetaminophen (name brand tylenol) is perfectly safe.
You can take mucinex but I would advise against the 12 hour one...it is partially time released and it won't be as effective for us.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
