** Sunny Sunday Roll Call **
IT IS WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!
Good morning everyone - up bright and early - have to get the kids up, pick up Lary from work and head down the shore - it is my step-dad's wedding today! I am having some weird mixed emotions. I am soooo unbelievably happy for him - however, my mommy is at the forefront of my thoughts and that leads to some ups and downs. I was a mess yesterday and it took some talking with a VERY good friend for me to realize that THAT may have been why I was so out of it. I miss her terribly and have sooo much I need to ask her. She has some nerve not answering all my burning questions. Oh well. That's why we have friends who put up with out stalker ways right!?!?!
So as stated, I am getting the kids up, picking up Larry from work and heading straight to my in-laws in Ventnor City, maybe I should start drinking NOW! Then with any luck some time on the beach this morning before heading over to the wedding about 1ish. Not realy sure how long the reception will be this afternoon - but if at all possible - heading to Ocean City's boardwalk tonight to run into about 40 million of my closest friends! :)
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Sunday and the Flyers WILL come back and make us even more proud than we already are! :)

Today I plan on planting beans in my garden. Everything else was planted yesterday. I also plan on working on cleaning up around the garage. I need the exersise.

Steffi---The wedding will go well today. I understand your feelings---I still miss my dad and wish I could talk to him. I have to be content, though, knowing I'm a lot like him.
To those going on the trail ride today, have a great time!!! I really wanted to go, but we're spending the week at the beach. I'm hoping there's another ride sometime so I can go!
I woke up early today. Well, earlier than the guys, anyway! I went for an hour long walk on the beach, then came back and read on the deck for a while. We have hanging chairs on the deck that are sort of like macrame. They're sooo much more comfortable for me this year!!! Anyway, the boys are going down to the beach to set up our chairs and umbrellas and we'll spend the day down there.

I understand your plethora of emotions. Have a good time at the wedding and bring me a piece of cake to sleep on so I can dream of Mr. Right.
I had a totally emotional evening last night and in the process totally missed Halladay's perfect game. I did get to see my granddaughter, for a few minutes, and say "Night, Night" to her and her brother at their grandpop's. Then, my daughter and I proceeded to have one of our misunderstandings that materialized into a complete and total meltdown on my side. I did not drink, nor did I want to, but I fell apart nonetheless.
Today, I am up late, overslept and missed church. Had a real good talk with my sponsor, thank God she is in my life. I washed the dishes, and am going to grab the mutt and take him to Sissy's, and then head to the car wash. It seems the birds that live in Bristol think my car is perfect for target practice. After that, I need to so some retail therapy and hit Joann's with a coupon and just buy something for the H*** of it. After that, I will come home and pull out the sewing machine and bang out a pair of shorts and a tote bag for next weekend's birthday parties. I asked my daughter about taking my granddaughter for a walk later, and she said she would let me know. We did reconcile, but not without a lot of tears.

Hi everyone.
Steffi, you were much in my thoughts today - I understand the roller coaster of emotions you're going through and all I can say is that your mom lives on and is there within you - listen when you are in a quiet time and you will hear her.
Trail ride was a lot of fun... great group of beautiful people...lovely weather. Stopped at Costco on the way home and spent way too much money, but it's been about 3 months since I've been there so we were out of a lot of essentials.
Unfortunately, got a call from my SIL that MIL is not expected ot make it more than another day or two. This is not terribly unexpected, but it's still heart-wrenching. She was in really bad shape yesterday when we were there, but my SIL wouldn't believe that she wasn't just "manipulating" us *** right). Anyway, the family is now all in an uproar and trying to converge on the area, so there will be lots of chaos in the next few days. And SIL with her own issues will no doubt be making herself the center of attention throughout this. Sigh. SO not looking forward to dealing with her in the coming days.

Ok so it's almost Monday, but I'm here...
busy day today. Woke up around 9 after going to bed at 5.. that was a pleasant experience :)
Picked up Siehara from my friend Carla's house where she had spent the night. Then we headed for the trail ride.. It was awesome and my butt is pretty sore right now, but I know it will get better.
After the trail ride, we came home and hung out at the pool in the complex for about an hour. I fell asleep laying on my belly for about 20 minutes.. don't worry.. I had sunscreen on, sort of.
From swimming, we went over to babysit for David and Sarah so they could get out of the house for some grown up time and dinner in a restaurant slightly more classy than Friendly's.
Now, I'm home and headed to bed. I plan to sleep as long as possible tomorrow morning. Then, we are taking my step mom out for her birthday (which is today) and then we will come home and hang at the pool relaxing for the rest of the day.
