Must be that everyone is away this beautiful weekend!  (well - its a little cloudy from where I sit - but still...)

Had a great night at a club last night with TONS of compliments and kudos - and even one, "Are you gonna STOP losing weight?" always good for an AW like me to get out once in a while!

Today is a lot of running around.  The girls are getting their nails and toes done for Charlie's wedding tomorrow and I have to be around to pick them up from the salon, I need to take Josh to get some clothes for aforementioned wedding, then take him to his first job as a life guard at a private house pool.  So proud of him.  Then looks like marketing and packing for the rest of the weekend.  Have to pick up Josh from the pool at some point later tonight and then I am HOPING to find some people to watch the Flyers game with!  because....guess who is working?!?!?!?!

I hope you all have a great Saturday and enjoy what looks like it is going to be a NICE holiday weekend!  Happy SUMMER all! :)

Good Morning Steffi & PA:

Looks a bit cloudy at the moment but looks as if it is trying to clear up for the sun to shine today.  Today is Dad's surprise party.  I'm up and finishing the last touches on the German Potato Salad and the bean salad.  Have an 8:30 hair appointment, then hoping the lab is open so I can get them drawn for my Wed PCP appt.  If not looks like I'll be going to work late on Tuesday and working late.

Yesterday spent an awesome day with Gene.  We do not get enough time together these days.  Got all the shopping done for today down in Jersey - I was surprised to see the end result so low in the cash register receipt.  Here in Philly I spend the same amount for 3 bags, came out with 2 carts.  Amazed both Gene and I.  My oldest daughter finished all the baking for today - she called a few times with questions on adjusting ingredients to make things WLS friendly - I'm so proud of her and her ability to re-figure recipes - she is a chip off the old block if I do say so myself.  My youngest is hosting the party - her house looks beautiful - so proud of her and her accomplishments - she was packing up the chicken in baggies and seasoning then making up the hanburger, and also making some salads and beans and rice for today...another chip off this old block

My youngest and I were talking yesterday - she thinks I'm too skinny.  I was telling her I weigh a couple pounds less now than I did after I had her sister.  Back then in my 21 year old mindset I was so upset because I was fat.  Amazing how our minds and perspectives change with maturity.

Hope everyone has an amazing day.  I can't wait to post pictures on Facebook of Dad's 90th birthday.....

Morning Steffi... slept in today after our late night out at Mayfair watching Jason Derulo.  I couldn't see a thing, but I was able to find a chair for Siehara to stand on and she had the perfect view so that made it all worthwhile.

Today has me going to synagogue, coming home to nap for a bit, then heading to a birthday party tonight. I still don't know if I'm going alone or with a date.  Either way, I'm going.  I think the dresses I got yesterday may be a little too fancy for it, even though they are casual dresses.  So, I may have to go back out and find something else..

Normally, I would just go with something I own, but I don't have too many nicer short sleeved shirts.
That's about it for me.. have to go finish getting ready for services.

Hanging around the house today.  My husband and father in law are removing the old front door (so old it still uses a skeleton key) and replacing with a new steel door. Since the house is so old, nothing is standard fit so they have to reframe, etc.  So my job is to bring them what they need and keep the dogs from going too ballistic. I  will spend my time going through old clothes that are too big and hanging my Goodwill and clearance finds that do fit.

Depending upon how late they are, hubby and I may try to catch a date night tonight.

Good Morning Steffi,
Those compliments you received last night are well earned.  Keep up the awesome work.  Last night I took dinner to my ex's to hoan in on some of the grandchildren's arrival.  When I parked my car, there was my granddaughter standing next to my door jumping up and down giggling.  What a treat.  I got to give my grandson his bottle, and enjoy good company, and watch my grandson learn to climb a small flight of stairs.  So, I am in grandmother heaven this weekend.

Today has me waiting to hear from my daughter as to if we are going yard sale shopping.  In the meantime, I am tidying and playing with the dog.  More just playing period.

Have a great day.

Trish

Good Morning all (barely lol)

As for us today we were going to go to a picnic at my Grandparent's so more of the family could meet Amelia but I am still too sore to sit in the car for 40 minutes so they are bringing the picnic to me! Can't wait for everyone to meet her :)

Have a great day and safe travels all

Happy Saturday!  I did some running around this morning.  Getting ready to tackle my yard which has been neglected the last 2 weeks between the weather and my busy schedule.  Later my sister and brother in law are bringing the kids down to meet the alpaca and sheep that my parents are keeping out on their farm for the summer.  Its like sleep away camp for live stock over there LOL  I also need to clean out the fridge and get to the grocery store...not much left around here to eat.  Also...almost forgot, I am going to watch the flyers win tonight!!

Have a great day!

Good morning, all!!

We slept late this morning.  I was tired last night and am still tired this morning.  A nap may be in order later today!  We're at the beach for the week.  Anson is playing PlayStation, Paul is at the post office, and I'm hanging out with the kitties.  I'll probably go make us some lunch soon.  It's not looking like it will be a beach day, unless we just go for a walk and maybe do some metal detecting.  It's been looking and smelling like rain.  Doesn't matter---it could snow here and I'd still be in my happy place!

Have a great day, all!

Hi everybody. We're in the car right now closing in on south carolina and my turn to drive again so thought I'd in. I don't know people think they can text and drive because I'm having an awful time and I'm a passenger!!

Anyway we are in our way home from vacation and it was wonderful - relaxing - no family drama - wonderful. Good to be heading home tho. Tonite we'll stop in NC for the nite then finish our trip tomorrow.

Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy your long weekend!

Caleb had a 2 hour baseball practice this morning and while he did that I walked with a friend for the whole 2 hours.  then we had running around to do.  Soon we will be leaving for the Boalsburg (the birthplace of Memorial Day) Memorial Day parade.  He will be marhing with his Boy Scout troop and tossing candy to the kids.  I am so looking forward to the trail ride tomorrow.
