Sunday Trail Ride confirmation..

Please make sure I remember this correctly.  We are meeting at Skyline around 11:30 am on Sunday May 30th and are suppose to ride around noon for one hour and the cost is 25.00 per person.

That is the information I have also.  Don at the stables told me that they have helmets available at no charge too.  Are we having a picnic lunch?  Nicole had suggested it once a while back.  Caleb & I are looking forward to the trip, meeting everyone. He is 11 and has never riden a horse.  My husband probably won't come because he has to work Sat. night.  he is going to miss all the fun.  See you Sunday!

That's my understanding, too.  I know some of us (at least) are packing picnic lunches to bring, as well - I have a feeling that we're going to be hungry when we get done!  

it's supposed to be hot, so make sure you bring plenty of cool water (or other beverage), sunscreen, and a brimmed hat.  Based on other trail rides I've done, wear long pants (jeans are great) and supportive shoes, ideally one with a little bit of a heel that can catch on the stirrup.

Ladies please don't wear sneakers they have no heels and if god forbid your foot goes thru the stippup its dangerous.  And wear something like to keep the flies and bugs off and when you get back in from the trail ride make sure to check for ticks.  Not trying to spoil the ride just letting you be aware of the ins and outs.  I would love to see pictures .  Remember no matter how intense your coversations become pay attention to what your horse is doing and don't let them eat while you are on them.  Horses turn into pigs and forget you are on them.  Have a wonderful time.

yup i think there are 12 of us be there by 1130.  we will be bringing  a picnic lunch to have after the ride. cant wait
