***Manic Monday Roll Call***
Good Morning PA,
I am up late because I cannot wind down. I was at the ER late on Sunday, due to horrific back pain. I know what is causing it, and will call the pain doc first thing in the A.M. I had to be totally upfront with the docs and nurses in the ER about my problem with narcotics/alcohol. I got some meds that help, and are not supposed to trigger that problem.
My plans for Monday are to get on the phone with the pain doc's office. I also have a dentist's appointment to get a crown reglued, as it keeps popping out. Would not be an issue, except it is visible when I smile and I look like someone I don't like.
I hope everyone has a great day, and CONGRATS to the Radlbeck's on their precious daughter's birth.

And of course, welcome Amelia! What a wonderful and blessed moment for Liz and Chris and I'm so glad that they are sharing it with us.
I'm working 6 hours tonight on the medic truck and if we don't do something soon, I'm going to go crazy. I really didn't get a lot of sleep today but what I did get seemed pretty good. Quality, not quantity. I'm hoping to drag my butt home and be in bed by 6:30am. I told Erin that she doesn't know me until noon....hoping that works out. I'm off the rest of the day then and don't go back to wor****il 7am on Tuesday.

Trish, I know how awful that back pain can be. I went through a bout with that myself and none of the doctors seemed to be able to help me. Finally, one day I was having a bit of a better day and went fishing. I guess the stretching of the back helped because it took the pain away and it hasn't come back in almost 2 years. Knock on wood. I sure hope you get some relief soon.
I am up early, AGAIN. One of the days I will get back to a normal sleeping schedule.
Just got up and having my coffee, trying to prop these eyes open.
I went to Mt. Airy lodge yesterday and hit a 1,300 jackpot. Ended up leaving with a 1,000 in winnings. Not bad considering I was playing the slots non-stop for 5 and 1/2 hours.
I am about 95% packed for my trip to California on Thursday. Just have a couple little things left to do. I also am about 90% done in getting my place in order. Housekeeper will be here while I am away so I have to get everything in order here as well.
I have 3 days of work to get through and then I can totally focus on my upcoming surgery this Friday. I am very anxious to get this week over with. Hopefully, I will be able to get out a couple of hours early on Wed from work.
I hope Liz and baby are doing well this morning and that everyone has a great Monday.

Good Morning All. Thank You so much for all the out pourings of messages / texts / calls etc. We are both doing great and I posted a ton of pics on facebook this morning. I'll do a separate post here at some point today with more.

I am actually feeling pretty good. They'll be bringing Amelia back into me soon to nurse, she is doing great. I slept pretty well last night even with getting up every 2 hours.

Hope you get some relief for your back Trish.
At work today already annoyed by my No Show Patients.
My hand is doing better, only the finger is swollen now, and the pain has decreased. I am taking the antibiotics as a liquid so that my poor pouch does not have to break so much packaging down. Is pretty gross though. Pretty tired wanna sleep, maybe will take a nap this PM.
