***Thursday Roll Call***
Ok, enough belly aching (but never enough "I love you's" to those who listen to me!) What's on the agenda today? Freaking nothing! I didn't sleep well yesterday...got about 4 hours in if that...so I'm running on EMPTY right about now. Less than 4 hours left to go! Home, pack up food, and get to bed ASAP.
Back to work tonight 7p-7a at LVH *may* end up in triage...we'll see. Right now the spot is blank...never a good sign.
This is the last of my nights at LVH this week. Fri/Sat brings me to SH, which, with any bit of luck, will be very similar to last weekend. And then Sunday I'm really looking forward to - I'll post more about that closer to the day.
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thursday! I think Lisa and Steffi are off today - enjoy!
Luv ya's,
~P

Hi all you wonderful peoplies. Keep Jim Holts in your prayers. He will be having surgery June 3! He has no internet access. If any of you are near Geisinger, please visit him! I would very very much appreciate it if you can be his angel. Thanks
I have been having fun with Zumba. I am totally silly looking trying to get my arms, legs, and booty to move in sinc!
Work today, then I may attempt to get my bike out and ride a little.
Good Morning Pam & PA:
((((Hugs)))) to you Pam.
Today I'll be in work 7:30 to 4:00. Have to catch up on some spreadsheets today and send them to another department to direct them on what needs to be done. Then have to train a co-worker on a new process that I'd developed so someone else in the department will know how and be familiar with sending out communications via fax blasts.
I know I will not make it to the gym, my exhaustion is returning. Last night I got home from work at 6:15 and was in bed and sound asleep by 6:30 and did not awake till 10 minutes ago. I have an appt. with my PCP in a couple weeks, I think maybe the B-12 shots will need to be monthly rather than bi-monthly, we'll see what the blood test shows when I have them drawn prior to that appt. I'm guessing this exhaustion goes with low B-12. I was good for a couple weeks after my first shot.
Tomorrow I'm off from work. Gene's graduation is this weekend and the festivities begin tomorrow morning and go through to Sunday. This is going to be a great weekend! My husband the doctor , my mom always said I'd be married to a doctor!
Hope everyone has an awesome day today.....

You can handle it, I hope you get better sleep today though. Sleep is so important. Your schedule blows my mind..
Today I am at work. I have been laying low no clients, no commitments after work. I needed a break. So I am sure I will go home a veg again.
Hope you all have a great day today
The night schedule thing isn't bad....and to be honest...I'm a TERRIBLE sleeper be it days or nights....either way I go through weeks of not being able to sleep more than 4 hours at a clip...and I'm good on that for a few days...up until I crash and end up catching up for a few days. That's where I'm hitting now. And actually - I LIKE the fact that I'm on for 5 nights in a row - it means that I have 5 nights/days of continuity and NOT flipping myself from days to nights and nights to days. That's where it can get tricky.
And being at work by, what 6am? would NEVER EVER happen for me. Never. Did I mention, NEVER? Let alone doing that AND seeing clients later one. Ha! I'd be a patient in no time. One job per day, thank you very much lol

My normal check in is simply a request for prayers today. Our son Matt is on active duty in Afghanistan with ther Vermont National Guard. We got word yesterday that Matt's base was attacked by the Taliban. There were casualties but Matt was okay. Yesterday they were headed out to hunt down the insugents. The focus of the Taliban right now is killing Americans...this is their mission. We will hear more as he is able to call his wife, which may be a few days, but it has us on pins and needles.
Please say a prayer for Matt and for all of our servicemen and women.
