Having RNY on 5/27!
Hi everyone,
I'm new around these parts and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jenn and I'm a 33 yr old Mother of 2 great kids and wife to an awesome man in Pittsburgh. I'm scheduled for surgery in 8 Short days with Dr. Anita Courcoulas at Magee Womens Hospital here in Pittsburgh.
I'm ridiculously excited about this, but also a bit nervous! I think that's pretty normal though. I've been blogging to try to keep myself "sane". It'e helpful to get my feelings out there and I like that I can look back at it when I'm having a rough day and remind myself in my own words WHY I'm doing this.
In any case, I just wanted to say hello and look forward to connecting with you all for the inevitable advice and help that I'm sure to need as I continue with this journey.

Hi Jenn!!! Welcome to the board. I am a pretty new member myself but I have to say that this forum is fantastic. The members have all been extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. You will make fast friends here.
I will be having Dr. Courcoulas performing my surgery too. I look forward to hearing how your went. Mine isn't until July 29.
