***Wednesday Roll Call***
Woke still not feeling myself but here at work it did cross my mind to stay home today but here I am. Den drove me to work today since he has the day off to some stuff then of course dinner before the meeting then the meetng tonight at Barix.
I went through ALL my shopping bags the other night and yikes I bought a lot of new clothes but I am ready for summer now. Still waitng for a few packages to arrive from QVC then I am done for a while.
I didn't get my tattoo this week or ven stop in the shop I have just not been feeling it so that will be a priority for me next week since summer will be startiing that means the shore!
I really do need a day to just be home and hard do organize and clean but looks like that may not be in the future right away.
Looking forward to the meeting tonight ....

Hope you stay well, I always refused to get sick when others around me were sick and most of the time, my refusual seemed to work. . . so just do what you are doing and refuse to get sick. . . mind over germs. . .
Anyway, I am here at the front desk, part of being in a small office is that we all take turns relieving the "client services" (fancy word for receptionist)/floater secretary for lunch and today is my turn, which gives me a little time to spend here, as work has been just that lately, very little time for ME (lol).
My plans for after work are picking up some food and going to hang out with my DIL and the grandkids. She called me on Monday to ask me to come, as until I got the posion ivy, we had a standing weekly thing on Wednesday's and then when I got better the kids were sick and/or Vaughn started his swim lessons, so it stopped, anyway she said, she would really like it if I started coming again, that she would cook us dinner (which if you knew my DIL is a big deal); but she just called a little while ago and said my granddaughter, Avery, has an ear infection and urinary tract infection (fever) which keeps her from going grocery shopping, seems everytime my son is away on business one of the kids gets sick, well she suggested pizza, which I really don't like much since surgery, so I suggested I bring something and we decided on PeiWei (a offshoot of PF Changs), so before I leave work I'll order online, pick it up and bring it over and then when we are done, my DIL will go and buy some food for her and the kids. . . Something my son and his wife never seem to have much of in their house is food.. . plenty of "junk" food, but real food, they shop for on a day to day basis, which coming from my generation just does not make any sense. You shop, you freeze, you pick up staples as needed and you are prepared for anything. . . I still have way more food in my house than I ever need, but people today are just different.
So that about sums up my day, hope those going to Barix tonight have a good meeting, I miss the Wednesday night meetings, but since working in Delaware, it's just a big hassle getting through Philadelphia traffic to the meeting, but I will be there on the first Saturday in June, looking forward to it, it's been way too long since I been to a support group meeting. . .

Afternoon everyone!
Kind of a crazy day at work, so I am a little behind on posting. Been up since about 4:45am, wasn't even at work yet and was going out on something. Not a good start to the day. I am supposed to be working till 4pm but I am leaving an hour early to change and make my way to the big scary city and meet up with Steffi for the Phillies game. Should be a lot of fun. If she decides to run on the field and ends up getting tased, I'll be sure to take pictures and post them all for your enjoyment.
Don't come back to work till middles tomorrow and then a quick return on Friday. Hope everyone else is having a good day.
