Good Morning all!

Still fighting the sinus thing but feeling a little better. At 10:00 I have a job interview. I am really hoping it goes well. I do well at interviews so I think it's mostly going to depend on my experience level compared to others. So we shal see. I really want this job!

Otherwise, home with kiddos, preparing a few things for dinner, then heading over to school to pick up my books for the summer semester. My summer schedule SUCKS......but what can I do? LOL

Hope everyone enjoys thier day. I am hoping the sun decides to visit.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Part time position. the Nephrology office job is only PRN and they rarely give me any hours. I am going to stay on, since they rarely need me anyways, but I applied for a position at another local hospital in Critical Care. I would be doing every other weekend/ every other holiday thing there.

So I have my fingers crossed it goes well. I have many years experience in field. I already know their computer system since the docs I work for cover that hospital and I access info. I just am nervous about not having IN hospital experience. I have always opted to work in a physicians office since the hours worked out with the kids and all.

But since I am going to school, hospital hours would be beneficial to me. And the hospital is only 15 minutes from home. So it's not a long drive or anything.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Good Morning All.... still pregnant. Contractions are coming 12-20 minutes apart and lasting 30-45 seconds (yes I did get a stop watch and stopped "mississippi-ing" just for my favorite nurse! lol Maybe a baby today?

If not I am at wor****il 12, stopping at wegmans for some sushi for lunch, yes, cooked stuff. And a "power waddle" around the store to keep things moving in the right direction. Then home to rest and wait... 2 things you know I am SO good at...

Pam - good news is the rain is mostly over, just a slight chance of a shower.

For clarification...I just meant you needed to know the length of them...I didn't have a problem with the mississippi-ing :)

Good luck today.

And that is NOT good news...I prefer it to be dark all day lol

Hello PA!

When I took the dog out early this morning, it was cool but pretty nice, so I may walk for my exercise today. It's either that or a water aerobics class, and I should get 5 miles in, truth be told. The training for the Komen 3 day has been pretty workable so far (3-4 mile walks a few times a week) but now we are hitting 5 miles and above, so I have to get more serious about it.

I also need to run a few errands - Pet Smart in particular, before doggy's dinner time!

Tryiing to wrap my mind around the work issues - the walk will help with that process. I was plannign to be in the office today, but did not have any specific meeting or reason to go in, so thought I was better served to work from home today. I am taking a more balanced approach to it all I hope - trying to organize my chaos there and get a few priorities taken care of. One day at a time.

Tonight my writing classes begin again, so I will be working on my assignment for that for a while today too. Of course, left it till the last day.....but I really love these classes and am glad to be in this session!

Oh - one more thing. When I was away a couple of weeks ago, I seem to have lost my basic black skirt. Yes, lost it. Must be in a hotel room somewhere, or slipped out of the garment bag, or something. So yesterday I swung by the mall to get a new one, because I don't have that many skirts (and no dresses) that fit right now and I do use them in the spring. I found the exact same skirt that I lost (good because it matches a jacket) - only this time, I tried on smaller sizes. The lost skirt was a 12. The replacement? An 8!!!!

Good morning, PA!!

We're in Lancaster, checking on Mom since her carpal tunnel surgery.  She's doing great!  Some swelling in her fingers but not much pain, other than her arthritis.

Had dinner with a woman last night who had been one of my best friends in elementary school.  I haven't seen her in close to 30 years, when I moved out of the area.  We had a wonderful visit last night and plan to get together again.  She had mentioned on facebook that her docs would like her to have rny but she's against it, so I've been trying to tell her about my experience with it.  She greeted me with "I never thought you'd this skinny!"  I'm hoping that seeing me, and seeing me eat a meal, will give her a better idea of how post-op life can be.

Today, I have my surgical consult for my hysterectomy.  I've never met this doctor---have only met the nurse practioners.  I'm kind of excited to get this scheduled and be done with it.

Have a great day, all!!!
