Terrific Tuesday Roll Call

WOW.. you are a more observant Jew than I.. no services until Thursday-Yizkor for me.  There are services tonight and tomorrow night, but I can't put either of us throught that, plus Siehara's therapy tonight is much more important. 

I am taking 1/2 day tomorrow, but not for services.. shhhhh... Siehara has to get pics done for dance, so I made the appt for tomorrow afternoon when she has off from school.

Was I out? um, no.. I was on FB for a bit, but then a friend of mine came over to try to get advice on some issues he's been having.  I didn't have a whole lot of advice, but I listened and tried my best to just be a friend.

Before you get all excited - I took off Thursday as well - but not doing Yizkor - scrapping with some girlfriends - want to come into Philly?!?!

Thanks for the offer, but I need to go for Yizkor.. both parents, still in my 11 months for my dad. 

Want to come after yizkor - we can cry together! :)  I think my temple puts yizkor in with the shavuot service.  Not sure - I have not gone since MY confirmation.  Am I supposed to light a yartheit candle tonight?  Or only on Yom Kippur and the actual yartzheit?

in my shul, I will light Wed night since Yizkor is Thursday morning. 

I would love to come there after Yizkor, but Siehara has dance at 4:15. 

I know you are going to try to come to Karen's, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen.  I am going to try hard to get to Barix in June.

Going to take my big mirror in to Williamsport to have it replaced as it broke during the last move. Then packing to leave for California at 4pm out of State College.

Haven't had a lot of time for posting here, though I try to check in with the Over Fifty Forum and I do try to keep abreast of what is going on with all of you as tiime permits. . .

My life is going well, busy and between work, my family, keeping up with my home, I have little time for more than the occasional game of bejeweled on Facebook.

I have to get ready for work, but wanted to stop by and say hey and wish you all the best life has to offer and if you are struggling, well I wish you strength and peace to find your way back, I, too, have had my share of struggles lately, this journey is not without it's potholes, but what I learn each time is that if I don't get too far off track, I can pick things back up and go with them better than the last time. . .

Thanks HG, so sweet of you to say so and yes, we are extremely happy, Dillinger stayed just long enough to make sure that someone who needed a good home would have it and live is good these days. . .  miss seeing you and hope to see you somewhere soon. . .
