Little wow moment yesterday

So I had a little wow moment yesterday and I wanted to include it in my Roll Call post, but forgot.  So I decided it deserves its own topic.

So I took the kids to my cousin's little league game yesterday and once they got bored, we went to the playground near the field.  The kids were doing there thing; slides, climbing, etc.  I posted a while back about a cool experience at the park with them and going down the slides with them and how awesome it was to be able to do that.  It was just as amazing experience as it was last time too. 

So yesterday, there was a swing and I was pusing Ryleigh on it and she said, "Dad, let me push you."  I stopped and thought about it.  I looked at the swing and at the chains and then at the swing and at the chains again.  What the hell, I'll try it.  So I sat my butt on the swing and much to my surprise, all was well.  And I started swinging and Ryleigh gave me a push, so on the backswing, I come back and knock Ryleigh right on her butt.  She got up and shook it off and then sat on my lap and we were swinging together.  Then she got off and Hannah got on and we were swinging together.  Totally awesome, total wow moment.  Loved it!

no pun intended but "swing on"  I'll bet that was awesome!

That had to be an awesome feeling - hanging with your kids and not jus****ching but being able to participate as well - I bet they felt pretty good about dear old dad, too!! Congrats! Keep on swinging!

That's REALLY cool.   We hear those kind of wow's out of Mom's but not Dad's.   Keep it up and you'll be crying like a baby when you walk'em down the aisle.

Love that WOW!!!!  Love that your girls were swinging with you!!!!  That's so cool!!!  You reminded me that there's a little park with a couple of swings at the end of my street.  (I forget it's there because it's tucked out of sight.)  I'll have to go check out the swings one of these days. 

It's great that you're enjoying so many WOW moments and having fun with your children too!  I love hearing about success stories and WOW moments like this!  AWESOME!
