Today, May 14, marks two years out for our friend Robin Rehr and her Lap-Band Surgery with Dr. Brian Boe at Barix.

Happy Surgiversary Robin!

In our world of wonderful people Robin has been tremendously wonderful.

As a patient she has rocked that band.

As a supporter she has always been there for others.

As a support group leader and our primo Lap-Band Leader... well there's no one like her.

As a Wife, Mom and GrandMom she's always been a winner.

AND she's a Hall of Fame Realtor too!!!

"The girls" are smiling with you today and they are soooo proud of you.

Robin you have rocked this life and I for one am so pleased to be in YOUR world.

Let's congratulate Robin and celebrate her day and her life. It's one of ROCKIN' SUCCESSING!

We love ya!

This should be addressed in a separate post.

However, yes, it is a problem.  "time released" medications are just that...and our medications are A) not in our systems long enough to be absorbed and B) we have less absorption in general due to our shortened intestines.

Ambien CR is 12.5mg.  You'd be better off taking two 5mg tablets of Ambien.  Also, regular ambien CAN be crushed/dissolved so you can take it that way to help the absorption issue further.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
