Your surgery is four days after my birthday
. I also agree with the other posters about starting to cut back on some of the things that aren't so good for you. The cleaner your system is of the toxins from sugar, carbs, alcohol etc. the easier the weight will come off and the recovery will be. We will all know to make room for you on the loser's bench. Take care.

Sooooo excited to see this post!! Congrats, Swede! And ditto ditto ditto to what everyone else has said about living "post op" as closely as possible now. I did it (mostly) by cutting out caffeine, soda etc. I started planning my meals and trying not to deviate. I also made my portions smaller (not as small as a true post op, but less than what I was normally eating) and eating every couple of hours to get used to that routine. In all honesty, that was (and sometimes still is) the hardest part.
CONGRATS again!!

Thank you all sooo much for your advice and support. I got more emotional from reading your posts than I did from talking to the doc and getting my date. I seriously appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to reply to my posts and for caring about me, my health and my future.
