Happy news to share

I'm so happy right now.  Had my 9-month followup appt today with Dr. Garber.  He's thrilled with my blood work, weight loss, and medical well-being.  No problems whatsoever medically, and I can't tell you what a miracle this entire experience has been for me.  I felt so poorly before surgery.  I'm loving life right now and savoring every moment.  My blood pressure was 114/68.

After I left his office I went to the Bon Ton to get a jacket or sweater since it's really really cold.  Bought two pair of size 10 stretch jeans with zippers!  WOO HOO!  I haven't worn jeans with zippers in a LONG time! 

This has been a huge WOW day for me.  Wanted to share the fantastic news with my friends here who bring happiness and support.  Thank you so much!

That is so awesome Debbie.. I was there at the beginning of your journey when you couldn't even get down a whole piece of Nan's pizza... look at you now!!

I'm still shocked at size 10 - I originally tried on size 12 and I thought, well I'll try on the 10 just to see and they FIT!  WOO HOO!  Shaking my booty!  LOL

Congratulations!  You've put in a lot of hard work along the way and I know it hasn't all been "roses."  It's so good to see that you're reaping the rewards now.  Zipper jeans AND size 10s! Wow!

But giving yourself a chance at a healthy and much longer life is the best news of all.  The medical stats are the REAL deal!
