hang in there Steffi.. It's a tough day for me too.. we will get through it together.  I told you yesterday was my mom's yahrzeit.. what crappy timing.. LOL.

Good Morning!  Happy Mothers Day!

Today not much on the agenda...putting stuff away (finally!), making phone calls to the two moms cause we're not gonna see them today...and then go back to bed.

Tonight officially starts the beginning of a VERY hectic schedule for me, although I did get coverage for one night so it's not completely overwhelming (but it is close)  Not sure how much I'll get on here for the next couple of days.

Work tonight 7p-7a
Sacred Heart hospital orientation 8a-4:30p tomorrow morning
Sacred Heart orientation Tuesday morning 8a-4:30p (was SUPPOSED to go back to LVH Tuesday night but got coverage)
Wednesday 7p-7a at LVH
Thursday morning recert class for my CPR from 8a-11a
Then orientation AT Sacred Heart ER 7p-7a both Fri/Saturday

It won't ALWAYS be like this...just to get me in all the classes and stuff :)  And the paycheck will be awesome so it'll make it worth it

you forgot to add the drooling you will be doing tomorrow night......  Good luck with all that! :)

My goal is to totally avoid the drooling tomorrow night.  I figure I'm gonna be up for such a long time...and have to be up early the next day...so my basic plan is to be home by 5, eat dinner, and be in bed by 6pm.  It sounds totally lame....but whatever!  Figure I'll sleep for a good solid 12 hours, 6p-6a and be out the door by 7:15 for the second day of orientation

if you need anything, I'm right down the street.  There is a bed and a futon in Siehara's room if necessary, too.  Just let me know

Thanks so much!  LIke I said on FB I definately won't have time to need anything in between the night shift and the day shift....just enough time to change clothes, grab some coffee at DD and head on over I think.

If I'm totally "zombi-fied" I *may* stop over after class and have Brian pick me up from your house if you're gonna be home.  I doubt I'll be to tired to drive, but weirder things HAVE happened.

Good morning Trish and PA board,

     I never get on here early enough to post so this is my first roll callTrish make sure that you bundle up today because it is cold down at the park.  I was there for a game a few weeks ago and we all looked like it was football weather.  Hope that they do better than yesterday.

     Steffi - I'm sorry that Mother's Day has you missing your mom so much.  As you said she is probably telling you to get your act together and let those kids pamper you.  Hang in there girl.

     Pam hope that you survive this week - I know that the paycheck at the end will be worth it.

     Eric, I have never met you but I do like you because you give so much grief to the girls here

     Today has me going to my sister's house for a cookout.   We will be celebrating Mother's Day, my mom's birthday (April 30th - once again it's not ALWAYS ABOUT STEFFImy nephew's 17th birthday and my brother-in-law's 58th birthday)  I am glad that we are doing this all at once.  Next weekend we have my nephew (and godson's) graduation from Penn State after 5 LONG yearsI am much better when I do family in small doses so this works out perfectly for me.  This is probably why I don't do roll call - look at all I am writing.  God knows I am not someone who is known for being a TALKER

     Happy Mother's Day to every one.  Liz, I think that today is the day for the baby.  Enjoy yourselves.
