****Mother's Day Roll Call****

Good Morning PA and all you Mommies out there,
I want to wish all the Mommies a Happy Mother's Day.  I pray you have many more in your future.  Also, a Happy Mother's Day to our soon-to-be Moms.

Today, I am going to pick up my son, Chris, from the train station in Trenton, and then we head to Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies game.  I am so blessed with all three of my kids.  I had a chance to talk to all three on Saturday, and feel so fortunate to have frequent opportunities to speak to all of them.  

So, today is Phillies game and an AA meeting.

Morning everyone. 

Wrapping up a pretty busy night shift on the medic truck tonight.  Pam, you should have been working.  We were at CC 6 times throughout the night...a code red, a pedi trauma alert, a trauma ED or two and lots of other nonsense.  Good times, definitely missed not having you to harass. 

Heading home in an hour or so and catching some ZZZZZZZZZZZ's before a busy day of Mother's Day activities. 

Sending love and good thoughts to all the moms out there today.  Hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing day.

Hope everyone has a great day with your kids, your own mom, or someone is is a great mom in your life.

Nothing on the agenda today. Hoping for no fighting between the kids so I don't have to yell all day like I did yesterday. LOL

Good morning PA Peeps - I am going to try to get through ANOTHER mother's Day without my mom....struggling this year....Getting ready to head off to hebrew school then a hopefully quiet afternoon with the kids.  Possibly getting my nails done, but just laying low...I hope that at some point I will not dread Mother's Day - I do what I can to make it fun for my kids....but it changed three years ago....UGH!

I go through the same thing on Father's Day. I try to make it special for Johnny but always feel so sad all day from missing my Dad. It's unfair to him, not that he would ever say that, but I am a Debbie Downer ever since he passed.

So hang in there. It's hard when you miss someone you love so much, but know she would want YOU to enjoy your day as a mom! Love ya, and have a great day!

I struggle on Father's Day for the same reason, and my Daddy has been gone for 32 years.  It hurts, but I do things to honor his memory, and not wallow in pity, because he would not want that.

Try to make it a positive day for your kids, as they will want to remember you with your laughter and joy for living.
