GM all!

Well now....I've had one heck of an interesting night with a range of emotions all over the place due to patients.  Each and every one of those sums me up at some point throughout the night

BUT the highlight of my night was having my BFF stop by with a DD coffee in hand for me after his shift.  And then he kept me laughing like a loon for about an hour.  Poor guy even got put to work by an unknowing nursing student we have here.  Thanks for being such a good sport, Eric!  I'll have your W-4 ready to fill out.

Looking SO fwd to today!  I have off tonight.  When I get home depending on the weather we may go to the farmer's market.  If so, we are most likely WALKING there which I believe is about 2.5 miles from my house and return trip will include going up "college hill" which is a pretty steep one.

If the weather doesn't hold, I'll get a nap in.

Then around 1pm my "baby brother" (the non crazy one who is still talking to me at the moment) is coming up.  Soooo excited!  We get along fabulously well and I haven't gotten to spend much quality time with him.  I should note, he's not coming to see ME per say, but for me to show him the holy grail of shangy's beer warehouse, lol  Again, the weather will play a part in our plans.  If it's nice we may walk around the promenade a bit, see a movie, etc.  If it doesn't we were thinking of doing one of the caverns around here that Brian and I have yet to check out. Either way, some sort of physical activity Also need to figure out some place for dinner.

And then, due to lack of a nap (most likely) I will be happily drooling on myself somewhere around 9pm at which point Brian will sigh, poke me on the shoulder until I mumble something incoherently and he forces me into bed, and I whine that I don't want to go to bed by myself (because I do all week) and he tells me he's not tired, and then I'll concede to his complaining about me sleeping on the couch and go to bed (damn it do I have my nights off NAILED I tell you!)

Anyway - enjoy!  And happy mothers day to all those mommy's out there tomorrow!!  Remember...you don't have to give birth to be a parent!  I have LOTS of "moms, dads, brothers and sisters" here on the boards and I suppose I'm a mother to the furry little ones who like to meow to no end to be fed :)

Good Morning Pam & PA;

Today is my Graduation from Eastern University

I'm praying for the weather to be nice today, graduation is on the field even if it rains.  If there is thunder and lightening then it will be held inside.

Our plans for the day are, Gene and I have to get ready early, then drive over to Jersey to help dad get dressed and bring him over here to our house.  My brother was going to come today and bring dad, but he got laid off from his township job and has picked up a job driving a cement truck so he has to work today.   Once we get dad back to our house, wait from my daughters and son-in-laws to get here so they can follow us to St. Davids, PA.

After graduation we'll probably all go out somewhere for dinner.

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yaaaay!  Congratulations!  Have fun!  I'll keep good thoughts for weather for you!  Much more important for nice weather for your graduation than for me galavanting around town!

Congratulations Ida...so proud whenever someone I know graduates from somewhere, especially us nontraditional college students.

I hope you have an awesome day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning! That's quite the range of emotions there Pam! So glad that Eric was able to brighten your night! Coffee is a girls best friend! lol Oh and Brian's knees are just going to LOVE you after that walk back up college hill - you are a brave girl!

And yes you are a fur Mommy so you have a Happy Mother's Day!

Ida - Congrats and I hope that the rain holds out!

As for me I am up way too early for a saturday morning, mostly because Chris is working today so his alarm went off at 6. Now I am wide awake. I guess I'll do my chores, laundry, sweeping & mopping the floor, bathing a smelly dog, washing my blankets and sheets because said smelly dog decided he was allowed to sleep up here when no one was home (did I mention that I NEVER EVER EVER!!!! Want a dog?!), then a quick nap/rest before I head over to my Grandmother's. We are having a cook out today for Mother's Day and also planting some flowers for her and uncovering the pool. Most of the family will be there, expect Chris who has to work and a few cousins, so I won't be doing much more then supervising and maybe planting some of the flower boxes she has on the deck. This evening home to hang out with Chris and probably force him to rub my legs because they are already sore. Gotta love the end of pregnancy swelling!

Well have a great day all!

Good Morning all!

Unfortunately, the sun has already ran away here. Gloom and rain. Booooo!

Today has me doing laundry and packing for the track this morning. I will stop by my sisters to lend her a laptop, luggage and Cd's to update her iPod. (The brat is leaving for Hawaii in a week!)

Then McCoy, Riley, Jantzen and I will head to the track where Sawyer and Johnny will already be. I will be there precisely until Sawyers last race, then I am outta there!

Then home, showers and baths for all, then bed. That pretty much sums up all racing saturdays for me.

Hope everyone enjoys thier day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

ahhh yes, College Hill.. been there, done that with the daycare kids..

do the steps.. they're loads of fun.  Wait, bring a kid in a wheelchair and carry him up the stairs while your coworkers carry the wheelchair.   Oh sorry, flashbacks are a *****
