Floating Sprint chat room bar

Anybody know how to get rid of the annoying floating bar? It`s always blocking exactly what I want to see.

I KNOW!! It's driving me nuts this morning - it's right in the middle of all the posts - I even shut down and rebotted my computer but its still there, and now I can't see what I'm typing so forgive me any typos and repeated words.

It's usually stuck at the bottom but I can't even get into the daily thread on here today because it's blocking it totally out. ARGH!!!

Im not sure how to get rid of it but I did notice that it was acting up on my laptop at home but, here at work I dont have that problem because I never had the bar in the first place.  My work internet apparently blocks the chat bar stuff all together.  so, I guess if there is a way to disable that level of security/access then the bar would be gone from your computer as well.  Maybe some fine tuning with your security settings....  Good luck!

Thanks for getting rid of the giant eyeball avitar, Swede - it was really kind of freaky looking at it!! The tat is much, much better! LOL!!

1. go to My OH
2. View Profile
3. Customize Profile

4. click on General Tab

5. it says "show chat bar" towards the bottom, just say no!

Thanks, that worked but now you can't see who is online or chat....just saying. At least the floating thing went away!

Considering I don't use the chat ability anyway - thank you thank you!

Mine wasn't "floating" yesterday - but today it is.  Norm's idea fixed it!

Go to "My Account" (on top by bookmarks) Check "NO" to On-line chat.  It will take it away.  Must be a glitch in the system this morning.
