TGIF roll call
Morning all.. sorry you are having trouble sleeping HG. Hope things get better. I didn't sleep real well last night, but that was me thinking about the service last night and the funeral today.
I didn't get to the memorial until about 8:20 last night.. turns out it was just about in time to hear Mario's best friend, Santos, talk. I didn't get to hear a lot of what he said and I wish he would have. He didn't have anything written down, just spoke from the heart. What I did hear was very touching and came from the heart of a "brother". At the end, he played "Really Gonna Miss You" by the Temptations/Smoky Robinson. There wasn't a sound or a dry eye in the house.
Today has me going to the funeral. Carly invited me to the meal after, so I will go to that. I told her that I took off the whole day and would be around as long as she needed-- or until I had to go home to get Siehara off the bus.
Tonight, we will go to David and Sarah's for dinner and then probably out to a mall or something. I will need the stress relief after the day.
Hope everyone else has a more enjoyable day planned than Nicole and I do.

HG - Hope that you feel better! My Chat bar isn't moving but I have the same issue as Pam with it "blocking out" what I am typing.
Nicole - good luck today hun - we will be thinking about you and sending supporting vibes
Pam - when I had my TB test I had to call them and tell them about it! lol Horrible that they don't trust the medical professional...
AS for me I am at work with still swollen feet / ankles that are so sore I don't want to wear shoes, socks or walk. UGH! At lunch I think that I'll either run out to whole foods to get a tea Karen recommended or I'll go to HOme Depot to get the flowers to bring to my Grandmother's tomorrow. If I don't get out lunch I will at least hit HD on the way home. Once home making dinner and resting. Tomorrow Chris has to work but me and the rest of the family are going to my Grandmother's to do a "yard clean up" and plant some flowers as well as help her open the pool, We'll then have a cook out for Mother's Day. Of course I'll be supervising and maybe some light planting.

I had SOOOO much fun on facebook last night - and that is FUN with a capital F - and Eric the F is for FUN - NOTHING else!
I am up, dressed and getting ready to help my LITTLE 8 year old celebrate her special day. We are starting the day by getting her some munchkins to take to school so she can celebrate with others in her school, then I am heading over there for "Muffins with Mom" She is VERY excited as this Mothers day thing at her school coincides with her birthday....PERFECT!
After that I am heading off to school to deal with hormonally challenged youth....wish me luck! After school I am coming home for dinner - then off to services forTeacher Appreciation Shabbat. I am sadly looking forward to getting dressed for this - I have been so craving the compliments as of late - and I so TOTALLY thrive no it......At some point I will just be happy with myself in lieu of needing others to tell me how good I look right?!?! :) UGH!
