Freakin Friday Fitness Fread

Good morning sweat buddies.

I was running a bit late to work this morning, so I only di 45 minutes on the elliptical this morning. But I have been having a great week. In an effort to bring my weight down a bit, I drastivally cut my caolries this week, and have been shovelling protein and chugging water like nobody's business. It's paying me dividends, and I'm in a great mood about it!

So what's on the agenda for you guys?

my hand independently decided that I was not going to the gym this morning.  When I woke up, it was time that I'm usually already on my way to work AFTER the gym (read: 10 minutes before I'm supposed to BE at work).  My hand was resting on the snooze button, which it had been pushing every 6 minutes for 2 hours without any conscious intervention by my brain.

I'll try to get there after work or will go for a run.  Sigh.

I am going to try and run to whole foods at lunch and I'll do a lap around the parking lot while I am there. My feet / legs are swelling pretty bad so walking is uncomfortable but I want to keep pushing it.

Hey all!

Did the treadmill this morning, along with weights. 

Don't worry about a shorter workout today, Norm---I did some extra time on the treadmill and will be happy to donate it to you.  Yeah, if only it were that easy, right???  lol

Good Afternoon,
I am little late for the post but I did an INTENSE hour on the elliptical and have been trying to watch my calories as well. I just can't seem to lose the last 10lbs no matter what I am trying. I am getting discouraged. I know the honeymoon period is over but geez you think that it would be a little easier but it's just so much tougher. As Arlene told me at the last meeting. It's like my body wants to get fat on it's own. SCARY thought.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I didn't work out last night - prissy pouch sent me to bed at 9:00. However, I just 'invited' myself on a long bike ride during lunch at work next week -they promised to take it easy on me since I'm a newbie but I must, must, must get on bike tonight, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday to get these legs in shape for a real bike ride!! Man, talk about incentive!! Can't let my co-workers down now that I have them so much grief for not including me to begin with.
